Can't even tell if you're joking or not.

DC loves their crisises.

It’s for real…

JL is being killed off

And the next event is called Dark Crisis

they will get revived eventually, im still interested in how they gonna get killed off though

If you thought DC's sales were bad before, just wait until they usher-in this new League... I can only imagine who those members might be. Heh.

Granted, the deaths of big name characters certainly won't stick for the long term(there MUST be Superman, for example), but still...

Mungi is like "see? all the good things get killed off, it's not just Alpha Flight!"

Bets on who will survive

I think Canary

So silly that they are using majority of the villains to kill off the JL. Each one of those villains are uber powerful and i'd argue can likely kill the JL without help

Yet, they are all attacking at once. If there isn't some serious jobbing, oh boy....

The worst part, DC cant commit to world building without the entire roster from JL. They will release about 5-10 issues about how dark the world is without them.

Look at the guys fighting again.

On the villains' side, universal threats. Gods, God's personification of Wrath, the ultimate killing machine, the god the devil prays to, the embodiment of death, the right hand of the GEB....

And on the heroes' side, Batman, lmao.

Who do you think will get defeat by Batman?

The way I see it

Batman vs DS
Superman vs Doomsday
Shazam Vs wrath
WW vs Ares
John vs Nekron

The rest idk. Fking joke
Each one of those villains was universal threat at least

Darkseid alone killed the entire Quintessence(inc. Spectre) with ease, and TEH is no less than his equal... Then you have guys like Upside Down Man, Nekron, Eclipso, Neron, Doomsday, and droves of others who just further stack this 'team' to ridiculous levels.

The heroes being able to put up any sort of fight at all is already pretty absurd. Granted they're acting in the capacity of "the multiverse's natural immune system" or w/e, but still...

Maybe they will receive an amp. Also I hope noone gets killed off panel. That would be terrible

Only way that works - from a battleboard power level POV - is if Mxy gets involved and amps them all with imagination or somesuch. Because the power levels being thrown around on the villains' side, as JLx and Galan say, are absurd.

True but at least it'll be plausible. I'm kinda curious about the basis for this event. Like I don't get why DC feels the death of the JL would be a good idea from a story point. They really need to focus on world building with lesser knowns and keep the heavy hitters in the background. They have way too many cosmic events

They don't necessarily feel this idea is good to execute it. It will sell, and that reason alone is enough for DC to do that

It’s the Future State JL

Separate note looks like Marvel just made their version of Uxas (pre-Darkseid) called Uranos, the Undying

“Thanos is now ruler of the Eternals! But believe it or not…he’s actually not the worst leader that the Eternals’ society has ever seen. No, that honor belongs to someone even more horrific. Thanos is evil, yes, but who was the original evil from whom all Eternal evils descend? Meet Uranos, the Undying. And may the Celestials have mercy on your souls.”

From ThAnus to UrAnus.

House of ideas, everybody.

He looks so evil!!!!

Lol. Darkseid killed a Thanos clone recently, so it was just a matter of time I guess.
