You do, but the ones most like you, you argue with, 😂 my youngest two are girls my oldest 4 are boys no pattern there. I think six is enough for any man... 😂

My daughter is most like me. I can't even talk to her sometimes she drives me insane. My job is my inner nerd but he's obsessed with the horror genre like I'm obsessed with comics so I find him odd.

My oldest is about to start driving next year so she's constantly pestering me about buying her a car. My youngest is 3 now.

Time flies entirely too quick lol.

Have you decided on a car? I'm kinda in the same boat where I want to set her up for success but not spoil her. I literally had to work for everything I had

Probably going to end up getting her a used Jeep of some kind. Maybe a Liberty or Compass.

I was originally going to get her something a lot cheaper than that, but we live in Indiana, and the winters are harsh here - lots of snow/ice. So she needs something reliable that is also AWD, so a Jeep is kind of where I keep landing.

It lowkey annoys me that she'll have a first car like that, because I also had to work my ass off and pay for my first car myself(nothing was handed to me, ever.) It was an 80s Bronco, which was a total piece of shit that I bought for like $2,500... But I loved it, lol.

I missed asking the obvious question to Galan, apologies for appearing self obsessed and thanks for enabling polite conversation Sin. Bet your daughter knows all your buttons to press too. My oldest boys do with me, I was young when I had them, so they saw a raw me. The younger ones, I knew what I was doing, the girls are going to be complex. I can see that already.

The world has moved on Galan, they just want what their friends have I guess. And we end up supplying it, I guess that makes us foolish or good providers or both... I don't think giving them more than we had ruins them... not in the end.

As long as they keep appreciating what they have, I'm fine with providing it lol.

👆 Bingo!

There was this article online that I remember reading about generational entitlement. I walked five miles a day to school in the city because I didn't have bus fare. I can't get my kid to walk down the block to the grocer. Maybe it's our fault.

I do think expectations go up generationally because their is more to have Sin. I used to get two buses to school in London at 12 on my own, looking after my little brother. The world does change each generation, no doubt.

Well, before he was even aware of his 'powers', David:
-Survived being ejected from a vehicle at high speed without injury, and went on to peel a car door open to save his GF after the accident.
-Survived an extremely violent train derailment that killed everyone else on board, completely unscathed.

After David began embracing his abilities, he has:
-Bent steel pipes.
-Broken through a reinforced metal security door.
-Delivered punches that leave clear fist indentations in the metal side paneling of a van.
-Thrown an opponent so hard against the same van that the entire vehicle moved in the opposite direction.

But David's most impressive feat is that he was clearly overpowering the Beast(especially during their second fight), so he at least scales to that level as well.

Beast has:
-Bent the iron bars of a jail cell.
-Was highly resistant to stabbing(a kitchen knife broke on contact with his skin.)
-Soaked close range shotgun fire with minimal damage.
-Was heavily implied that even rifle/sniper fire would have been ineffective against Kevin while he was in his Beast persona.
-Physically flipped a police car on its side.

There's a bit more(like each of them have overpowered multiple SWAT members and whatnot with low-diff), but the above are their best feats... And as mentioned: if Beast can do it, David can logically do it as well.

so probably like low meta then?

Kids are such a treasure sometimes because they are reflections of you and sometimes you catch this little glimpses of yourself. It's really amazing honestly.

When you said this I imagined Galan's daughter asking him "now that I can drive you have to buy me a YT-2400 Light Freighter"

I know you want this to come across as impressive, but I'm looking at this and I'm concluding two things:

The Omniverse is limited in its range of permutation: this has only ever happened once.

The Source isn't omniscient.
how did you get these 2 conclusions out of these 2 scans I'll never know

please explain

John Stewart absorbed the Godstorm. This means it's a contingent event (i.e. it's possible but not necessary). If we assume that the Omniverse is maximally complete then all contingent events should've occurred an infinite number of times. But since it's only ever happened once, the Omniverse can't be maximally complete. That is to say: there are possible state of affairs that could've existed in the Omniverse but that don't.

The Source's lack of omniscience comes down to him asking John "What are you doing here?" Implying that he doesn't know the answer. Generally, it's a good idea to have omniscient beings monologue rather than dialogue.
