Nightmare captured multiple Beyonders and killed them after toying with then lmao

Lol, what?

First LT is allegedly killed by Korvac, and now multiple Beyonders are clowned by Nightmare. So either Korvac and Nightmare are orders of magnitude more powerful than has ever been alluded to, or Marvel's "top dogs" are just randomly being given the Thor treatment.

Spider-Man has defeated Nightmare before, no?

Spidey =abstract

Next thread: Freddy Krueger Vs all Beyonders.

Even in Time Runs Out the Beyonders' power levels were all over the place. The gimping is a consequence of the overexposure of the cosmic elements that have occured over the last decade or so.

Ex-Nihilo and Abyss killed a Beyonder.

Starbrand's planet-busting power killed another.

The classic Starbrand was potentially multiversal, yes. The current 'brand, however, has been faux-retconned into...well...significantly less.

Kevin: "In killing me, the Beyonder doomed himself -- UNLEASHING the cosmic power of the Starbrand [...] I never wanted this... The power to protect or destroy A WORLD.":

Kevin: "If I blow, it's not a Beyonder that buys it... It's the ENTIRE PLANET EARTH! [...] I never wanted this... The power to protect or destroy A WORLD.":

Kevin: "Last, reabsorb ALL THAT STARBRAND ENERGY... So that I don't blow up THE WORLD!":

As you can see: it was iterated and reiterated on panel that the current Starbrand's power -in its totality- is planetary. Nothing more. On top of that, the most recent issue of 'Captain America' depicts the output of a handful of nukes >> Starbrand(and a host of other 'powerful' heroes)... When they are using their full power, no less *scans posted on the previous page*. 😂

tl;dr
The 'brand is fcuking chump change these days. Don't let anyone try to tell you differently. 😉

Thor and Hyperion held their own for a while against a horde of them.

The only Beyonder worth a damn was, ironically, the "child unit".

Was it the real LT?

Really? I thought LTs we're all aspects or avatars and there's only one true LT existed in a different plane

Like Darkseid Avatars?

I think it's more like he co-exists on every place of reality, but it's all the same LT. Not M-Bodies, just one guy in all places at once.

He's a top tier cosmic, so can do that.

Kill one of them, you kill all of them (Unless he can survive only 1 1billionth dead or something)

Maybe, it's been explained and re-explained from different angles since. Plus LT rarely seems to fight back. He did let Chaos and Order beat him as well

That's handbook bullshit

I thought they explicitly had the one the Beyonders killed as an M Body?

Really hazy recollection here maybe it was in Ultimates?

No, it was real LT

Modi callled.

He says no more Internet for abhi.

No, I'm pretty sure it isn't. I'll go back and look.

Yea something along those lines. And the LT prime was questioned by some abstracts about whether it could happen again an he said no. Stated that he's more powerful than that version.

It was also a scene with Warlock and Thanos discussing it.

But maybe Abhi is right... I dunno, my memory fades at times

So much for that theory.

"That" Tribunal?

I thought they established the ENTIRE multiversal collapsed though. Only to be saved by God Doom and his pet Molecule Man. So how could one Tribunal not have been killed?

Looks about right. Writing style looks like Starlin. Not sure if that series is canon though.
