Sadly just found out it’s old news. The fight was originally shown in the digital exclusive monkey prince #0. The recent issue was a flashback of that

Stupid edit. Just read #0. Fight wasn’t shown in MP#0. Basically Apololips invades earth and Darkseid killed some heroes and MK defeated the parademon army; but they didn’t fight….yet. The issue ends setting the fight between MK and Darkseid after he killed the heroes. MP #6 shows DS using the omega beams on MK which teleported him to the phantom zone
