I thought he just destroyed the mass around the core, except Jupiter's core.
Technically you should also take deflection into account, but then you'd have to do it iteratively, and I'm not going to spend my whole day pinning a number to this. It's not that important to quantify because we just recognize it as "the destruction of a big planet from a great distance."
And at the end of the day it was a sneeze. I think most people would agree this makes Saitama herald- to trans tier.

I see, I thought that he only destroyed the gaseous mass and the nucleus remained,

anyway, thanks for the calculation, it is a great feat
Some of the feats from the earlier chapters were a bit questionable, and they didn't mesh well with the destruction of Io. But this make things a bit more clear.
But I think the "big thing" with the chapter was his ability to hijack Garou's time-travel, because while Saitama is strong his Achilles' heel (in debates) is that he doesn't have that many ways to deal with esoteric abilities.
And then there's the endless growth. It was always assumed but now one can make an argument for it to a degree.

Gas giants are just balls of gas. They don't have solid cores. This is also why gas giants don't have a surface.👆

Please provide examples of someone with esoteric abilities that can beat a serious Saitama during the ring of a bell.

No Herald is sneezing away a planet.
But in terms of raw power I'm guessing he's closer to trans tier, but I'm no expert on the tiering system so you should probably ask Galan.

You're right, but a lot of heralds have other powers like matter transmutation, intangibility, superluminal travel, etc.But in terms of raw power I'm guessing he's closer to trans tier, but I'm no expert on the tiering system so you should probably ask Galan.
My point is that while he's shown resistance to the things he's been subjected to: telekinesis, radiation, time travel, etc. You can't really use those things to make a good case for his resistance against other things, e.g. matter transmutation.
Not resistant but most matter manipulators get one punched during the onset of a fight against him, so it really doesn't matter.

Not to mention that both Blast and Garou were confirmed reality warpers.
And there might even be something in this chapter that suggest that Saitama can resist matter transmutation. But I don't know what it says, so I'll ignore it for now.
Now, the problem with the argument above is that people don't have to accept it based off the evidence that exists. You can make a case for it, but it's not uncontroversial.
Can he punch them out before they're able to pull the trigger and turn him tortoise? Maybe? But then they'd still technically be a threat to him.

Another thing I got wrong was the distance from Io to Jupiter. Because this is what Google gave me (the distance from Io to Earth).
It should actually be 422,000 km.
But this is a good thing, because then I don't have to worry about the computation of the logarithm.
And you still have to cut this down by a zero or so because a sneeze isn't omnidirectional.
