The priestess that brought Castle into the Hand has caused Castle to be granted two "gifts" of the Beast. The Eyes and the Fire. The Eyes appear to grant him limited clairvoyance. The Fire appears to grant him something akin to hellfire powers.

There are three other "gifts" alluded to. It doesn't seem that Castle consciously wants these amps or is actively trying to use them. Their use has been spontaneous.

Bottom-line, Punisher is kinda being amped by the Beast. And Daredevil was definitely being amped during Shadowland as a result of being possessed by the Beast.
