who is the guy molesting anti-monitor here

Seems like Harbinger

It's Captain Marvel

I actually think it looks like Magneto

anti-monitor might be the worst designed villain ever

like we talking costume design

It's gonna tie back into this:

so he's gonna get retconned into a creation of celestials?

that's a new low...

he needs to at least be on first firmament level or at least the death celestials

The Omegas essentially created a world/universe designed to defeat the Death Celestials, based on their analysis of "the strongest parts and possibilities" of the multiverse:

So it would make sense if Beyonder was included in their research/experiments... Hence why he's now sporting the same omega symbol they were branded with. Perhaps Beyonder has now been retconned into the culmination of the Omegas' efforts.

Any idea how he came back after he died as Kosmos?

I don't even think Marvel knows the answer to that question, tbh. Kosmos/Maker 'died' during Annihilation, then I think the next time he popped up was during the Illuminati series as a completely different character... The guy has more retcons than pretty much anyone.

-He started off as supposedly all-powerful.
-Then he became half of a cube being.
-Then he became Kosmos/Maker.
-Then he was a Mutant/Inhuman hybrid.
-Then he was a "child unit" among the true Beyonder race.
-Now it seems like he's been resurrected by the Omegas in his 'classic' iteration.

Who f*cking knows. srug

Yes, but that Illuminati story took place in the past. Years before Annihilation.

Other than that, I agree, Beyonder is whatever writers wishes him to be atm.

But is it the real deal? Do we know that for sure?

That's true, but still... The guy seems to get retconned in almost every story he's mentioned in. Marvel has never really had a clue wtf to do with him.

Nothing definitive yet. He was only shown on the last page of the recent Defenders issue. I'm just assuming the Omegas played a part in his rebirth.

I agree here, yes.

Or perhaps that is the plan - to keep him "fluid", ever-changing...

I see 👆 Maybe you assume correctly, time will show.

Remember Dark Reign? Owen with big bad villains at his side, later revealed to be nothing more than his constructs? Reminds me of that.

Just saying it wouldn't be the first time Marvel teased us with Beyonder returning.

so you are saying thor is gonna blow beyonder into kingdom come just standing there like sentry did to owen?

Possibly.

But no, I'm saying it might not be Beyonder at all.

No Herald is sneezing away a planet.

Neither did Saitama, tbh.

yeah it just looks like the outer gas, not the inner core

He didn't sneeze the entire planet away - just the atmosphere of a planet much MUCH MUCH larger than Earth, lol.

My post was a jibe at Carvy's wording.

Plus, time travel shenanigans. I wonder what the next chapter brings, sketches are already done apparently, according to Murata.

If Thor does defeat Bryonder, is that a low showing for Beyonder or a high showing for Thor? Let me know. Asking for a friend.
