Thinking about it, he actually needs someone like Superman though. No changing the tide of battle against World Forger with a timely battarang.
Marvel has Thor needing help from f'n Spider-Man being quick with the webbing while grappling with a god.
Why do Redditers claim Jupiter's Legacy is a movie about real events that happened in the Millar-verse? Saw one that said Wanted and Kick-Ass are the real world, while JL is essentially a bunch of movies with actors that the villains allow to gloat about their ultimate win.
I'm reading Jupiter's Legacy now, where does it reveal this is a fiction set within a fiction?

Batman could have unmade Failsafe by time-traveling, but he refuses to do so because it's too dangerous for the timeline
Truly a momentous piece of Batman writing.
Hey, since Shields usually let people hear past them, shouldn't that mean sonic attacks should normally pass right through super shield ala Sue Richards, Ikon Shield, or Magneto shield?
What about the null field? I know you can argue sonic energy is still energy, but shouldn't Aquarian be hard of hearing, and never hear a loud noise like a yell?

Well Sonic energy is energy. So he should have difficulty hearing. But comics. Either the writer never thought about it, or decided to ignore it instead of come up with a convoluted explanation for him to hear.

Yeah, likely this.
I was wondering because I was thinking about ways The Transformers could beat an old enemy named Circuit Breaker (Who looks kind of like Zuel from Ghostbusters). She's covered in circuits, and can manipulate electricity and short out Transformers with electric attacks. She also has a field of energy that absorbs attacks like Shockwaves microwave gun. So was thinking, what about sonic attacks? Blaster or Soundwave can send concentrated sonic energy, and Circuit Breaker needs to hear.
But then I started remembering shields stopping Banshee and other sonic screams, so now I'm not so sure.
Does Hal Jordan's aura stop the Canary Cry?
