Superman, Flash and Wonder Woman stand at the edge of a park and make a plan to scour the globe.

Superman flies to East Asia.
Flash runs to Egypt.
Wonder Woman runs... into the park.

First time I'm seeing this scan. Thank you.

Ah, but have you seen this?

Literally states she isn't faster than speeding bullets lol.

Next page, we see where she is in relation to GA's arrow. I mean, she IS faster...but not by much.

Looking like a consistent theme here.

Nice and bloody.

Looks like his joints/skeleton/adamantium are retconned to be more like Ultimate Wolverine.

Used to be that he couldn't be torn apart.

Did they mention how the Krakoans kept his adamantium with every clone? Wasn't Forge keeping a vat of it on hand at all times?

👆

(...) I never could have attempted this stunt if I still had my adamantium...

Yes, they needed to re-adamantiumize him every time he got resurrected.

Proteus was involved one time on-panel too (with Laura), messing it up and supposedly covering her whole skeleton instead of just her claws. Supposedly, as it's already been contradicted, iirc.

Benjamin Percy is not above contradicting himself, either - Apocalypse's daughter couldn't behead Wolverine with her flaming sword, Vermilion. Omega Red failed too (with Cerebro Sword), despite his immense strength.

And then you had Wolverine getting reduced to the bare skeleton by the hellish lava bath, with not a single part of said skeleton getting detached 😂

In the end, it functions in the way the story needs it to.

I wonder if they ever mention it again. Because otherwise it's a massive weakness of his, it basically negates his HF and adamantium.

Maybe that's how they explain it - THIS clone of Logan didn't have his joints coated or something.

Forge is mentally ill, Proteus is not exactly stable himself - they're both prone to making mistakes... too bad Professor Apocalypse wasn't consulted on the matter, he would have helped those dolts 😛

Percy is quite new to Marvel, he worked on DC books before.

I dunno about this whole cloning the x-men thing…doesn’t feel like the real x-men but I dunno how you bring them back after firing them into the sun

Some exceptions were made, for example Captain America was resurrected with the same technology as a courtesy.

But you're right, this resurrection thing used to be Eternals' shtick... Hickman is not exactly known for original ideas:

Just wish they’d bring back the original x-men, it’s like saying Ben Reilly is the real Spider-Man. I know you hate Spider-Man but it’s the only example I could think of.

The cloning/resurrection twist was introduced after the X-Men died on a mission to the sun.

Hickman definitely got me on board with all of it because of how he introduced it. Credit where it's due, he elevated Krakoa and mutant resurrection way beyond how it sounds as just ideas on the drawing board.

But he needed to stick around to see the grand arc through to its conclusion.

It's no mere cloning in this case, they're said to be the real deals.

Although... two Lauras existing at the same time kind of contradict that, so go figure...

But if X-Men aren't real, Steve Rogers isn't real either.

So what happened to Cap that required it?

He died

😂
