Not exactly a surprise.

A [significantly] weakened Mxy was able to whip up a portal to the 6th dimension, and still had enough power left over to unmake creation, while he was simultaneously fighting Bat-Mite.

It took a lot of power for him to open up a single door to that dimension. It wasn't an easy task and it looked like it fatigued him. Just transporting to and from that dimension, I don't get how it became such a basic task now based off what we've seen before.

I don't think anyone minded, did they?

I thought everyone agreed it was pretty cool

Dies cried a lot and so did Abhi.

And not just them, lol.

That's the part that I thought was cool 👆

I was expecting Superman punch Godzilla back to wherever it came from but he did the sensible thing I guess. More proof superman is the greatest comics character and doesn’t need to beat everyone up to prove it.

I bet you read the latest issue with mixed feelings.

On the one hand, Mxy soloed the other imps.

On the other, he couldn't handle the supervillains...

I never actually read comics, I only do it for the feats 👆

hey galan are you gonna watch star wars the acolyte? it's taking place before the empire, always want them to show something in the earlier star wars era and they finally did
I'll watch it, yeah... Not expecting much, but hopefully I'll be surprised. /shrug

Mxy implied that it would be very difficult, but then he whipped up a portal to the 6th dimension with just a few "huffs", while already in a significantly weakened state... Then he went onto unmake DC creation, while he was actively engaged in a fight with Bat-Mite... So no, it didn't seem to take as much effort/power as you might think.

That said, a full-power Imp being able to pop-into the 6th dimension with ease doesn't really surprise me. /shrug

Gonna laugh if it's revealed that Doom-Mite is a Mxy construct, though.

Don't lie, there's no way anyon-

Wonder why nobody posted this. Susan Storm blocks a Cosmic Cube, and does so subconsciously:

😂 not gonna change up after being a Superman fan my entire life.

Growing up was a big fan of Godzilla, OptimusPrime, He-Man and the Incredible Hulk. Superman was always #1 though.

Sadly, no matter how much you like him, Hulk still dislocate his chin.

he kinda did beat the supervillains though. he awakened all of jimmy's hidden powers and personas, then amped them, then sicked them on the villains ftw.

Edit:
Never mind. Mxy did amp them

I wouldn't argue vociferously against this.

-any particular reason why you have mjj/jamie/clyde above the IG?
Because an IG is limited to it's own universe. Mad Jim Jaspers, Jamie Braddock and Clyde Wyncham are not limited to their own universe.

-if you really believe that the UN erased and remade the entire 616 multiverse in an instant then it dwarfs anything else in marvel in terms of actual feats.

and where would you place the alien entity from ff#530-532?
Nowhere special. At best, near Eternity.

What did you think of their treatment of the UN?
Not offended that there would be something considered above an Ultimate Nullifier. But it was an alternate universe. Doesn't change what the 616 Ultimate Nulilfier did,

Where do you rank Doom-Mite in DC's cosmology, based on the story so far?

Based on implied powers, I would think he is somewhere in Top 10, given how he destroyed the 5th Dimension and seemingly is above the imps.
But let's wait to see the story finished, we should later see how exactly powerful he is in the following issues

there's no way doom-mite's top 10, mxy isn't even top 10

presence/overvoid/the source
yellow aliens/the writer
lucifer/michael/GEB/
the endless/mother night/glory/father time/pralaya
mandrakk/cosmic superman/judges of the source ( like the cosmic raptor one shotting perpetua)
golden wonder woman/ darkest knight/doctor manhattan/super celestial race like the perpetuas aka the hands

that's just off the top of my head

You forgot those aliens in the Final Heaven Doom Patrol arc. Based on implied power

Yeah a lot of those guys are implied

Mxy did it casually, and implied he did it every week.

well, mxy admit manhattan is above him

and manhattan is the bottom of the totem pole on that list

You know me, I do like a good feat over statements if they exist...
