He thought the fight was done. He snapped his neck and walked off. If he didn't do that, then yes, it would've been stupid. Hulk just stomped him, and we finally got a clear picture on who's the most powerful between the two. Hulk could've kept fighting while Thanos was struggling to get off the ground.
Lol you describing the panels in multiple ways doesn't change what happened.
He thought the fight against the Hulk was done. It wasn't. He knows the Hulk's healing factor.
CIS from Thanos. It happens. Unless you want to argue PIS(I KNOW you don't want that lmao).
Turning your back on an enemy, thinking the fight is over, when your opponent is the Hulk with one of the best HFs in the game, is stupid. MYou obviously... don't think so? You think it was....clever of Thanos to do so? That's what you would do, is it?
Or would you think it completely suicidal to do so against the Hulk of all people?

🙂. You tell me.
You see how easily you fell into the trap, lol.
Either he knows about it, in which case it is CIS to turn his back on the Hulk.
Or
He doesn't know about it, which is CIS in itself lmao. You're literally saying he doesn't know his opponents' abilities (despite knowing of the Hulk for years and having literally fought him on multiple occasions) yet still turned his back on him.
Which is it? Or maybe he knew about it but completely forgot? Or he never knew about it despite fighting the Hulk, despite even knowing Banner?
Ok.
That's not how it works. Example, HP Doomsday defeated Wonder Woman. She didn't know about all of his abilities but the qun still counts since we had a winner between the two. We don't exclude fights just because a character wasn't given a handbook explaining their opponent abilities. My point is, Hulk was still at 100%, while Thanos looked taxed AF.

That doesn't mean excluding the fight. You've been posting here for over 20 years, you know what CIS means.

👆 pretty much. CIS still exists as a concept, no?
Also, the Doomsday example is a bit poor as WW specifically said she had never fought Doomsday before that.
Hulk and Thanos have actually tussled several times before. He even knows of Banner's reputation as a genius.

I actually liked the first issue of Aliens vs. Avengers. You can tell Hickman is a fan of the Alien franchise.
the most important thing we learn in issue #1 is:
on a serious note, I'm looking forward to the next issues. I just wish they would have shown more of the actual fall of the world that was way to rushed imo.
Yeah, I would have also liked to see more of the earth's downfall, but this is only a 4 issue mini(I think?), so they probably didn't have the room to include much filler.
What I didn't understand was:
"Within one month, an endless army. Within one year, a planet-razing horde."
I know it's just semantics, but what's the difference?
Either way, this is basically the OG Marvel Zombies, except with Xenos... And I'm here for it. 👆
Originally posted by Galan007Yeah but that's exactly what I wanna see, Xenos mass producing and taking over the world, I wouldn't even mind an actual event with tie ins and shit, as long as everything remains properly written of course (I'm still getting PTSD from King in Black). Something that was constantly on my mind was what happened to all super powered individuals that were facehugged? Does that create super powered Xenos? Missed opportunity right there. But I'm overall fine with it, I like the atmosphere they build free of retarded slapstic humor.

Historically the Xeno takes on traits from whoever was facehugged(that's how we got the Predalien for example), but Hickman doesn't seem to be going that route... Although since Disney now owns the Alien franchise, I suppose they can do whatever they want in that regard... Maybe a Xeno is a Xeno now, regardless of who the host was? It's also an alternate universe, so anything goes. /shrug
On another note, imagine if the Queens got smart and just used someone like Deadpool(or any other character with a decent HF) as a perpetual host/incubator. His chest gets bursted, a Xeno pops out, he heals instantly, and the cycle begins again. The endless army just became a lot more endless.
