Like I said, I do think our opinions are more aligned than not when it comes to comics. 👆

😍

Do all Kryptonians (Superman,Kara,Zod,Jor-El,Jon, etc) process solar radiation at the same rate, or can some "charge" faster than others?

If they all process solar radiation at the same rate, then is the amount of TIME they have each spent under yellow sunlight the only thing that makes one Kryptonian naturally more powerful than another? Or can some Kryptonians also store more solar radiation than others, which is what makes them stronger?

And what is the average time is takes for a Kryptonian to go from completely powerless back to full power under a yellow sun on earth?

Jax-Ur seems to reach Superman levels under one day in Batman/Superman World's Finest

Batman, Punisher, Daredevil, Elektra/Widow have some good feats

Widow is a bona fide super soldier, don't forget.

Great comic. Moon Knight did the best against Galactus so far, Marvel needs to make this happen, and happen now!

Remember that crystal which absorbed planet moving punch from Superman? Well, Superman vaporised it completely.

Tsk tsk. Vaporize means turning a liquid into gas. "Sublimate" is the proper term for turning a solid into gas.

What if it melted first, THEN was vaporised?

Vaporize can also be used in a less technical sense, like a synonym for atomize.

But without knowing how Superman vaporized it, doesn't seem like much of a feat.

Also, trying to read that font against that red background.... bleh.

My review of Creature Commandos is that I feel tapped out on James Gunn stories about a group of quippy ragtag misfits.

It wasn't bad. I might have liked it more if it stood on its own and didn't feel formulaic by this point. But at this point I'm keen for his Superman just so he can tell a different kind of story.

Creature Commandos was great. Loved pretty much all the characters back stories, which made it strong. Only thing I had an issue with is Frankensteins characterization. Liked some of the comedy bits but overall didn't quite work for me.

Like Nostradamus?

------------

Overall I enjoyed Creature Commandos. It was more of the same, there were some points that were a bit too Gunnesque though (basically anything with Dr Phosphorus).

Also, I went through a Gogol Bordello phase when younger so all the music was overplayed for me.

Idk, the backstories.... each one seemed to take progressively bigger swings to evoke that feeling of watching a puppy get kicked. And that feeling wasn't always earned. Just pathos on repeat.

The Bride was cool tho 👆

Yes. It was a joke. Hence "tsk tsk."

The crystal vaporization button that may or may not have been next to it?

Hal casually flies to FTL speed(and exiting it once he approached his destination)
Also he seems to maneuver himself casually while flying
