How is the story of Geiger going so far?
I enjoyed its 2021 series, but I decided to wait its 2024 series after I read its first issues.
Since I felt the story was just beginning to build elements in plot and I thought it's better to read when the plot is coming together
Geiger has been very good on a consistent basis. Especially now that Johns has started weaving other key players(ie. Redcoat, Junkyard Joe, Northerner, etc.) into the story, leading up to The Unknown War -- great world-building so far. Anyway, if you enjoyed v1 then you'll definitely like the current run as well. Just read Geiger 80-Page Giant, Geiger: Ground Zero #1-2, and Ghost Machine #1 before you start the ongoing series/v2.

And if you feel like reading more Ghost Machine ongoings, check out:
*Redcoat - It's not groundbreaking, but it details the adventures of a somewhat douchey immortal British soldier through the ages(think Archer & Armstrong, but darker and more mythical.) Very enjoyable, and also has ties to the rest of The Unnamed-verse.
*Hyde Street - Only a few issues have been released so far, but it is an excellent horror-themed book, with strong Twilight Zone vibes. Absolutely love it.
*The Rocketfellers - This is quickly becoming the "Fantastic Four" of the Ghost Machine imprint. The series is basically just getting started, but it has already linked the 4 separate continuities that fall under the GM umbrella. So if anything cosmologically significant occurs in the GM multiverse, it'll likely happen in that book.

...Oh and Rook: Exodus(v2) should also be continuing in the next few months. 🙌

i wasn't expecting "the monster" that is always shown on the unnamed timeline-

to be the same "the monster" that just appeared in hyde street-
https://postimg.cc/47RVrXfw

so either the monster can cross universes, or hyde street and the unnamed take place in the same universe.

^ They aren't the same, tho. As of now the Ghost Machine imprint/multiverse consists of 4 individual realities, which are not interconnected at all:
-The Unnamed-verse
-The Rook-verse
-The Hyde Street-verse
-The Family Odysseys-verse
https://ibb.co/TBCG1yLh

That being said, The Matinee Monster featured in Hyde Street is not part of The Unnamed -- he is his own separate character from his own separate continuity. The Unnamed timeline's "The Monster is Made" bulletpoint is likely referring to a creature called The Blizzard (who is part of The Unnamed-verse, as Redcoat has hunted it in the past.)

fair point. guess the monster can also be a character we haven't even seen yet, like the first ghost which is also on the timeline.

but you know there's going to be crossovers inbound lol.

*Slated for release on 4/23/25.

Dynamite is really milking the nostalgia angle nowadays, but I'll have to at least check out the first issue. 👆

Cap looks weird.

I hope it remains faithful to the content put out by Don Cheadle

Yeah, I just finished the ongoing series(up to 10). It gets pretty good pacing and has many moments I enjoyed
I also realized I actually read the 80-Page Giant and Ground Zero when I checked them. It has been a while since I read Geiger

And some off topic(though maybe in topic? Since this is a versus forum) thoughts, did the best feat Geiger perform so far is him against Junkyard Joe? I was actually surprised when I read Junkyard Joe is theorized to be capable of withstanding a atomic explosion(https://ibb.co/zWGBcs3w) and remembered Geiger beat him in the first series

Geiger's best feat is probably this:

And Joe is also nuclear powered, so he was passively absorbing much of Geiger's power during their first battle.

This is the kind of shit they should have put in the movies, imo:

Also, Timeless Luke Cage's power is stacked.

So this version of Luke is canon? I heard about him transversing over to 616.

Is Scorpion stronger?

When properly written, of course he is.

Not even his most impressive feat in that book, tbh. He also deflects bullets after they're fired with his arm:
