Is Apoc the oldest Mutant, or does that title still go to Namor?

Apoc is the oldest.

Namor was the first to get published.

For what it's worth, Apocalypse is said to have grown up during the Bronze Age:

And he's the one who caused its collapse:

Still too soon to be there, but maybe it took a while for him to "grow up".

The scene I was thinking of with him and Imhotep (and Khonshu, apparently) vs the Brood

I think Selene might be older?

Maybe Stilt knows

Imagine if Apoc spent all that time on learning an obscure Indian martial art, instead of mutants and the survival of the fittest BS.
Better to learn some obscure Egyptian sword fighting so that one day he can fight Moon Knight in a movie.

Oscar Isaac plays both parts.

I thought Marvel retconned continuity to where Namor was actually the first Mutant?

With Avengers 1Mil it has to be somebody from around there or earlier. There was a whole group of cave-mutants. [lol, Aaron]

Living, though, is another thing.

My head canon is that Khonshu is a finicky ***** who lives for drama and was throwing Moon Knights in En Sabbah Nur's path for 3 millennia

So it's not that big of a deal that one finally got lucky

👆

I will long for the days when Apocalypse was a foe of Dracula. It's all 3rd tier street levelers from now on.

Selene says hello.

yeah stilt is right it's definitely Selene

The oldest living Mutant, and the oldest Mutant are two completely different questions.

Selene is the oldest living Mutant, afaik(I'm assuming she's still alive..?) But a Mutant like Firehair or those other filthy cave-dwelling Muties she was honeypotting in the 1,000,000BC series would obvs predate Selene... By a lot.

By a landslide too. 👆

then why does apoc have such a god complex then? he is neither the first mutant, nor the oldest, nor the smartest, nor the most powerful.

cause he's got the best frowny face

Within the same ballpark of centuries, he's the type of guy to have Thor running for his life, casually dispatch of Exodus but also get decapitated by a random Moon Knight. Wakes up, bitches Sinister, goes back to sleep. Then wakes up, and finds himself having problems fighting vampires, goes back to sleep. It's an eternal roll of the dice.

You'll have to excuse him, his cognitive dissonance must be off the charts.

Why isn't Carver his biggest fan?

Is there a hypocrite character you can be a fan of?

I mean, it definitely seems like he's a fan of yours
