I seemed to also have missed out the part where he's now able to fly using his aura. Damn Flash is finally getting the respect he deserves.

End of the issue: it's all revealed to be noncanon...

You're trying to hard. We've never seen Superman perform anything close to these fts. Heck, we just saw him frozen by time stop. You should orobably fine fts without foreign objects. Its just that simple.

TBH, the way I see this scene is both Superman and Flash have benefit.
It states that Wally is fast to the point that Superman probably can't hit him(at least, in the beginning) and can fly by using his aura
But also Superman isn't there to fight, despite that, Superman still seems to shrugg off all Wally's attacks and wears him out/slows him down enough to the point that Green Arrow can hit Wally

Of course, this is all just based on the preview page. It may have some other factors come to play when the comic is released

Didn't the same writer(Mark Waid) write Supergirl broke time-barrier and later Superman used the same trick?

Yeah. The main feats are that he can fly in space, and from the looks of things, can slide out of time stops, so they won't work anymore.

I personally feel the phasing out timestop thing would tie to his ability to phase out reality which established before

Edit: anyways, it would be interesting to see if the Last Days of Lex Luthor is canon. I suspect it'll not be.

Terrifc's timestop plan, which both Wally's daughter and wife say it won't work.
Then the next panel shows Wally says slide(which seems to indicate he sliding out the timestop)
