Yeah. She died, but iirc psychically assemble herself a new body, only for it to be classic Betsy.
Crisis averted they have explained it
Betsy Braddock will trade in her Psylocke mantle to become the new Captain Britain. Meanwhile, Kwannon will be taking on the role of Psylocke. So Betsy is white again.

Hickman sucks as a writer, tbh.I have more trust in other x-titles.
When I saw the lineups I legit rolled my eyes. Yes, to all of them. Still, I'd be a dick if I didn't give them a fair chance to surprise me.

That sounds dumb, but I have to give them credit for trying, at least.

Well, he can't ruin it much worse, that's for sure.I mean, pre-Hickman X-Men were stupid af, even though the general idea was good (dealing with the vilains just so some people would remember X-Men as good guys before they went extinct).
X-Men was born stupid. It was purposefully written as a soap opera, peddling all kinds of petty soap like stories of sex, random fighting, random relationship drama, people dying and coming back inexplicably.
Basically, it was built around drama bombs designed to appeal to stay at home moms, repurposed for tweens.
Legion of Superheroes has a lot of the same problems, but they also had generally good superhero stories in the mix, instead of "High school musical meets Friends" all the time.

Laughable assessment.. but ok.
