So is Carnage back to normal classic levels again?

Nah they directly stated that Carnage isn't what he used to be and he still ate everything Bushwhacker threw at them with ease.

To be fair, Bushwhacker ran away and upgraded himself by eating tons of ammo, Carnage didn't want to push his luck a second time and made short process with Bushwhacker.

Poor Bushwhacker. From fighting Immortal Hulk, to getting beheaded by a weakened Carnage....

Reboot. 2099 actually refers to Earth-2099.

It wasn't an amped Godzilla that fought Superman, Superman was just given a weakness to Godzillas breath.

I would hope Saitama could beat Godzilla. I like my Godzillas in the herald range, anything over that is kinda silly unless it's a specific amp or (Godzilla in hell type story).

I meant in the way that Godzilla's breath suddenly gained a brand new property i.e. the same wavelength as Kryptonite.

Like if he fights Dr Strange, and the writers were too lazy so they just went 'you know what? His breath is antimagic'.

I can see the temptation to build some connective tissue between the Godzilla mythos and the Superman mythos but it did seem a bit lazy that way.

Yeah. It would have been even easier, imo, with Hulk - both spawns of nuclear bombs, monster antiheros etc.
