Which one of you nerds is as strong as Cyclops?

3 plate DL. That's 140kg, or 305lbs.

315lbs with the 45lb bro.

Looks short, with no center knurling, so I assumed he was using the women's bar lol. But yes, it could easily be 315lbs.

How many Cyclopses are you????

Pure Silver Age:

*Supergirl used to live in Midvale, which is where Pre-Crisis Supergirl lived*

*Streaky the Super-cat is back*

*Supergirl's alter ego, Linda Danvers, is back. In pre-52, Linda Danvers was a separate character*

It's all canon.

Cyc is just that jacked, bro. It's like Shaq holding a water bottle. 👆

Also the writer's posts on Tumblr said when she asked the editorial, they said now everything counts, everything is potentially on the table, and Supergirl is the same Supergirl who died in COIE(Kara also has memories of Pre-Crisis)

She also brought back Clarissa Giltedge, whom the writer explicitly confirmed is the same character from 1962(on sale date)'s Action Comics 296 on the DC official website

I asked our community in the DC Official Discord what questions they had for you. The people of the DC Discord want to know which of Supergirl’s friends from her past might find themselves in your series?

Well, Dick Malverne’s still dead, unfortunately.

Yeah, RIP. What about Jerro the Merboy?

He’s on my list. You never know if Jerro might show up. Clarissa Giltedge is in the first issue. I think she was only in one issue [1962’s Action Comics #296], dressed like an Egyptian pharaoh. Terry Blake is in issue #2, from the ‘70s book. She was Kara’s college roommate, and not technically from Midvale, but I put her in anyway.

In this issue, Kara also mentioned she was once on the show Secret Hearts, and was a camera operator

Supergirl was an actress on the show Secret Hearts in Superman-Family 208(1981)

A camera operator for KSF-TV in her Adventure Comics, which lasts to 424(1972)

Yeah, IMO this really cements it. Not just Waid doing his own thing, or writers throwing the odd Easter egg in here or there.

yeah good point, it looks like a 25lbs bar with quarters lol.

I was initially disappointed with the One World Under Doom storyline. Literally bored.

But Doom's struggle against Dormammu has changed my mind. It's perfectly sensical. It does actually flip the narrative... if Marvel heroes simply support Doom... could the world be made better???

Yeah, I was getting pretty bored with it myself. The pacing just felt slow AF to me.

Now I'm trying to wait until the story is wrapped up before I binge it. Feel like it'll be more cohesive that way. 👆

You're missing out on Doom going Snikt, so.....

Scans? mmm

Dormammu effortlessly BFRs everyone (Hulk included 😈 ) into a pocket dimension, and Doom does not stand for this.

*Snikt*

Tony did it three decades before Vic:

Lol

Insane feat from Sue - shielding her family at the last split second from a timestorm that rewrites history. Also, Jean Grey is able to hide herself from Franklin, and Namor has......aqua telepathy lmao.

Hulk vs Thor:

Thor pretty much kicked Hulk's ass lol

WW can resist her own lasso:
