So Strange having an unknown item isnt prep? It was literally said throughout that comic what did Strange have PLANNED.

Didnt Living Tribunal back down taking out Galactus even after knowing the consequences?

Strange literally just flew in with everyone.

That was his only plan.

Also Galactus is doing these things because he is a conduit of magic into science realms, not because he is super duper powerful now.

Read first. Make nonsensical claims later.

IOW, Galactus is like Black Adam in Infinite Crisis?

On a different note...
This just screams "Maker" to me.

...I know Maker is one of Hickman's crowning achievements, but I'm not sure what he's doing with Xavier here..? 😕

I don't want to browse through this on the phone, so I'll wait until I get home.

Suffice to say, I'm excited for Hickman. I wanted to wait until at least an arc is finished [his stories are all better when read at once], but I won't.

It's amazing seeing Gladiator perform abstract level feats without being amped like how Superman was. truly amazing
Imagine being such an anvil that superman is still who you compare your pet marvel characters to when they finally get a good showing.

honestly everything on this forum comes back to superman. it is ****ing hysterical

😕 Galactus is more powerful and again, Strange hit Galactus with an unknown item.

First issue was enjoyable enough.

I've generally enjoyed the bulk of what Hickman has written, so I'll follow his X-Men relaunch until he gives me a reason not to. I mentioned this earlier, but I think really good things can come from it.

👆

I love how he's obsessed about 'structure'. From how he created his stories, to the intricacies of the hierarchy within the Universe [i.e. see Omega classification] and more. Even his Avengers run was about the Multiversal structure collapsing. That seems to be his main thing.

Glads being more powerful than Hulk surprises me.

Hulk was shown to be stronger and outperformed better against gamma amped Annihilus

He literally forged the hammer by himself.

That must be abstract level forge.

the next argument will be that stranges forge > world forgers forge.

.......cuz he MUST be beyond superman damnit!!!!!! that is ALL that matters!!!!!!

wait you know that doesn't really mean nothing right lol?

Strange always had artifacts standing up to high tier beings.

Well of course.

Also, here is a list of the current known Omega-level Mutants in Hickman's new series...

Two questions: Firstly, does this mean in theory Jean should cancel out of Quentin - or is it different kinds of telepathy of something that I missed
And secondly, where is Nate Grey?

Same.

And the issue itself is definitely structured the same way Hickman structured his previous Avengers run... Which is awesome, because I really liked that layout.

Another good thing is that pretty much all of the X-titles before were total garbage, so it's not like Hickman is going into this with big shoes to fill. He could honestly wipe his ass with a blank piece of paper, digitize and publish the shit smears, and it would be an improvement to the X-franchise.

What have the hammer failed against?

Surprisingly, Xavier isn't there either.

Xavier is an omega level telepath iirc. So is Emma Frost

Pretty comprehensive retelling of Marvel's origins here:

LOVE that they tied-in the adult Franklin/Galactus plot from Hickman's F4. 👆

??

I'm talking about the conversation they had about watching the universe die and be reborn, just after defeating the Mad Celestials:

It is a direct link to this:

That is a great tie-in, and also confirms that Galactus' energies will be used to create the next universe. 👆

Reminds me of Imperiex
