Looks like they retconned the Shade and the Shadowlands.
it's not a retcon though, eclipso is just saying the shadowland power is similar to his
power, "in a sense" is the key phrase here
shadowlands is connected to the great darkness, we learned that in the great darkness swamp thing tie in. and eclipso is only a small aspect of the great darkness. so it makes sense
the way the shade dispose the flash level speedsters into pieces was insane.

"The vastness of Eclipso could never hope to be contained by four dimensions, and so my mind became a realm entire unto itself."
He's not saying the shadowland power is "similar" to his. He's saying that it is him. The comic also establishes that Eclipso was the Shade and Simon Culp's "maker" and that "everything you are flows from me"
Presumably it's the same for other characters (Obsidian, etc) who tap into the shadowlands. Hence Eclipso's reference to the shadowlands being too porous and all the spellcasters and heroes who make use of it.
yes smurph im reading the same damn comic, you don't have to type it out for me
what im saying, do you not understand
in dark crisis, we learned that shadowland's connection to the great darkness, and eclipso is an aspect of great darkness just like many other villains (justice incarnate). read dark crisis the deadly green

Your point is that the Great Darkness is connected to the Shadowlands and that Eclipso is an aspect of the Great Darkness. And that's fine but it's neither here nor there. The retcon in the latest Flash issue is the reveal that Eclipso created the Shade and apparently is the origin of the Shadowlands themselves.
You can make that fit within a broader Great Darkness theory if you want, it's just beside the point.

Who ever made that claim?
I've argued that Superboy Prime needed to punch a solid construct for the Retcon Punch to work. Like the wall of the cell created by Alexander Luthor, or the tuning fork, or the Darkest Knight. But that was simply what the evidence pointed to at the time. There were never any instances of him swinging in the air and causing a continuity crack prior to this.
Hopefully we'll get an explanation of how the Retcon Punch works, and why only Superboy Prime can do it.
been reading harley quinn
you get to see batwing lecturing on how to kill racism and homophobia
and harley hiding breadsticks in where her sun don't shine
no name hero sacrificing himself to save the team just so harley can make snarky comments trying to be funny and failing
