Just a speculation, but I feel the winner of the upcoming K.O tournament could be SBP
or we find out superman was taking it easy on prime this entire time. But you're right it cant be coincidence that he is back right before a company wide tournament.

The event will be poorly written anyway, these big team fights are rarely written well.
Fights will be much closer than people think.

are you having trouble getting on this site as well? yesterday i couldn't get on here

yeah the gateway errors are back.....it is what it is at this point, though. Maybe it's time to head to Reddit....

I couldn't log in after that post..was pretty bad.

Was re-reading Zero Hour and forgot that Kyle and Hal were actually blown away by the ****ing big bang.

A marvel character having such a feat would have shut down the board a decade ago.

GLs are insane. Kyle best feats match Surfer's, Hal surpassed it.

I bet Superman is severely weakened the entire tournament and then...plot twist...he was holding back the entire time..and then he flies really fast and punches the bad guy...whose a 24 dimensional being...but, plot twist.... that's just his avatar.

Still better than the shit Marvel writes I guess.

that would be such stupid writing. but it is dc and snyder is writing after all

the smart way to write this would be let superman get disposed by some mage early in the rounds. then really expand their imagination on other more interesting characters

in fact let's get rid of batman, wonder woman and superman early in the arc.
at least that's how i would write it.

who wouldn't wanna see a match between john constantine and doctor fate

Team Storm rounding up gods, and Infinity laying the beatdown on Galactus and Surfer:

Good little issue. Best I've read so far this week:

ITS ALL CANON.

JL has multiple origins canon, for example - n52 is canon (fighting Darkseid) and PC/PostCrisis is also canon (Starro with MMH etc):

Superman even has his multiple origins referenced.....

Great job by Waid weaving it all together.

Yeah, Superman has his Golden Age comics(Action Comics 1, Superman 1, even his first encounter with Mxy), and the Silver Age comics( Action Comics 260, Adventure Comics 210, 247)
https://ibb.co/BKr4SY6b

Hell, Superman even has his famous "speed breaking infinity" issue referred(His first encounter with Mongul, DC Comics Presents 27-29)
https://ibb.co/FbQCvnbH

Also, curiously, there is no explicit mention(at least from what I read) of Earth-2 Superman....I wonder if we apply similar logic that some poeple used, does it mean Earth-2 Superman is non-canon at this point?

At a stroke, that solicit destroys almost everything cosmic Marvel related....

Something is coming to destroy a universe (616). The only entity powerful enough to stop this is TOAA.

MrMind is crying tears of joy right now.

Canonicity aside, I did like how the issue fully acknowledged Ambush Bug's Toon-Forceness:

Maybe it has more to do with Hadad's scope of power within a given universe, and not necessarily the scale he operates at?

For example, the IG makes you "God" within a single reality. Even though the IG-wielder 'only' controls a single universe, they are [almost] supremely powerful within said universe(to the point where they can contend with bonafide multiversal beings, like God Emperor Doom.) Perhaps the same logic also applies to Hadad? ie. he doesn't have multiversal scope(IOW, he can't obliterate infinite universes with a gesture), but he's basically "God" in any individual universe he steps-into.

Then those with multiversal scales/scope should, logically to me anyway, be able to stop him (your Phoenixes, Enigma, Astral Regulators, even TOBA etc) IMHO.
