As far as people trying to lowball Supes feat because of collateral damage is concerned, it's kinda like how in dragon ball goku has his vaunted feat of how his and beerus's punches are going to destroy the universe, despite the fact that zero collateral damage occured on earth? Goku seems to get full credit for that feat despite the collateral damage being nill. In fact, if we are going to go by collateral damage actually caused the dragon ball characters are not anywhere close to the power they get scaled at. I mean hell, bulma, corrin, normal humans, etc. don't get killed as a result of collateral damage all the time. So, if you use the collateral damage route for Supes, you need to use it for all of dragon ball as well. Otherwise, you're a hypocrit. So, pick one. Does collateral damage have to 100% scale to the implied damage or potential damage or are we allowed a bit of suspension of disbelief for the sake of the plot? Whatever you choose, be prepared to apply it equally to DC, Marvel, Dragonball, etc. and don't just pick and choose where it gets used. Thanks.
Collateral damage only becomes 'important' to these people when they are trying to lowball Superman... Even though the amount of collateral damage caused by an attack has NEVER been the end-all/be-all way to gauge its potency in Dragon Ball OR comics.

Case in point: Owen hits Beyonder with a blast that could have destroyed "SEVERAL BILLION ENTIRE DIMENSIONS":

...Yet a blast of that magnitude didn't even knock over the lap in Owen's studio apartment, or singe his couch. So does that mean the blast was really intended to be sub-apartment level? Of course not, lmao. It just confirms what anyone who isn't trying to be selectively ignorant already knows: that a lack of large-scale collateral damage doesn't mean a goddamn thing in many cases.

You can also list a few hundred examples from Dragon Ball to back it up...

👆

And a few dozen from Marvel and DC as well.

I guess Galactus vs IG Thanos was a herald level fight.

Yeah, using collateral damage is just stupid. I get tired of people using it to lowball Supes AND Dragonball, and to a lesser extant marvel. I only say that because i personally haven't seen many people use it to lowball marvel, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I swear, whenever Supes does Superman things it seems that certain posters go through the stages of grief, except they never get to acceptance. EVER.

Before Watchmen expanded on Manhattan's powers quite a bit... Certainly made him more uber then he was in the original series. However, Johns has gone absolutely bananas with him in Doomsday Clock. Manhattan is being touted as more powerful than even Mxy, and can basically do whatever the f*ck he wants to the whole of reality.

Ironically enough, the only thing he doesn't know if he can do is withstand a punch from Superman, lol.

Interesting.. hopefully it expands on Superman and his true meaning to the multiverse. Thx Galan

Claims the tweets on destroying a multiverse were fakes.

I don't know anything about that, can anyone confirm or deny?

This post is obviously a troll one but tbh quora has some really interesting questions and answers that allow you to see opinions outside of kmc

It's the most questionable ft in existence.

Yeah, quora might've sucked at first, but it's kinda decent now.

They've come a long way.

only by biased people that don't want to accept it. It's a feat, it happened, a multiverse got destroyed and a multiversal+ being got one shot on his home turf. People have to accept it. Alberto has, He's now saying that writers will write superman above all. You should too, it doesn' make the hulk any less, he was already below superman. Seriously bro, It will be lot less stressful then trying to spin up something new to lowball it every other week.

Good to see you posting again.

Yes, it was too homo without Sin.

Which? The World Forger one? I read the comic after Galan gave me a short summary. It seemed pretty cut and dry. What part of the feat are you questioning?

Yea, I often laugh at some of the answers but it's still a cool site. Kinda reminds me of kmc in a weird way

The HOTI was universal or multiversal?

👆 damn you Galan that was the scan I wanted to post

this is the best example of how collateral damage dont mean squat in comics

Galan posted it for the 9786th time.

But the whole board is old and suffering from Alzheimer's disease, so he'll likely need to repost it soon.

Other examples can be...

... Gambit not being immune to his own superpower, yet deciding to use his whole deck against Gladiator... at point-blank range... Remy was unharmed.

... Wolverine's butt eating a bazooka... his clothes are not even singed.

Agree on collateral damage not being the be all end all. I do differentiate blasts from physical attacks however because sometimes blasts can be very esoteric in nature. Magic or cosmic type blasts can be explained away much easier for obvious reasons.
Stooped comic science... Can be silly at times.

Ask one of the cosmic guys on here. I honestly can't remember if the end was canon or not. But iirc and mind you I'm old but thanos absorbed the LT at a time when the LT was multiversal. Now that's been retconned but I believe Starlin intent was for it to be so. I think Breevort did away with it though..but like I said ask a cosmic guru

One guy had an interesting story about being a contractor who stumbled into a meth lab, when he phoned his boss, was told by his boss to stay right where he is, then called the police and sat at distance as he rolled in with a gun, cursing the whole time.
