Black Adam vs Wonder Woman starts and Superman rises.

Shit's about to get real.

there's one more issue after this issue

no way they gonna wrap this up properly, no way they can fix the conitnuity mess from post crisis to n52 to rebirth

The current speculation is that *everything*(pre and post crisis) becomes definitively canon after this.

I don't see that happening

how are they gonna explain that to readers from a in universe perspective?

dr manhattan can't just say:" hey by the way, everything's canon now, there was never any reboots"

isnt that what they did with superman?
Practically combined the two lines..

He CAN say, though, that they all happened because of him. That they all happened is the key thing.

I mean, that should be child's play for a being more powerful than Mxy... /shrug

Oh I'm sure Manhattan is more than capable of doing it. I just don't see composite continuity works for DC since their continuity is so convoluted, it's a mess. There are too many contradictions

They all happened from in universe perspective too. It was confirmed in convergence all pre crisis and post crisis multiVerse still exists. Also there are higher beings like new gods already know about all the reboot sinCe they are unaffected by it. They are outside the orrery of worlds. They watch all of it unfold. Letting current superheroes know about all this isn't gonna affect anything

Right. But if he resets everything at the end of the book, or "puts it right" somehow, that will fold everything back together.

I mean, as it stands, you could almost make the argument that Superman now is just a time-displaced version of himself from the pre-crisis days.

It's simple.

Superman simply....remembers his history ever since 1938.

Because it's literally him in every incarnation, as it's been made clear by Manhattan.

👆

It's not even about making an argument, as Manhattan clearly shows it's the same person, only with time-alterations again and again.

but that means only superman is canon from pre-crisis till now

not every other characters

Same thing applies to the others.

You can even make it so that when Superman remembers, the whole Metaverse does, tying it in to the previous issue showing his importance.

For those keeping up with Doomsday Clock. Was it ever explained how Manhattan got so Uber?

No. He just.....is.

it was explained a little bit in before watchmen

Meh that's disappointing

I've read that. I need to look again then. Thx

Before Watchmen expanded on Manhattan's powers quite a bit... Certainly made him more uber then he was in the original series. However, Johns has gone absolutely bananas with him in Doomsday Clock. Manhattan is being touted as more powerful than even Mxy, and can basically do whatever the f*ck he wants to the whole of reality.

Ironically enough, the only thing he doesn't know if he can do is withstand a punch from Superman, lol.

Deja-vu

You'd think all these cosmic god-beings would have a social club or some shit, where they could all get together and decompress after being owned by Superman.

I would love a samuel l jackson level "AAAAH SHIIIIT" when they see the red eyes as he runs at them

Claims the tweets on destroying a multiverse were fakes.

I don't know anything about that, can anyone confirm or deny?
