It's about to get really interesting, Morrison at his best when he makes the story a multiversal cosmic odysseyStill I like him the best during late 90s early 00s, his JLA run and of course DC One Million 👆

Snyder can have good ideas. He can just have abysmal ones too, but that's largely true of any writer. He just veers too much between good ideas/character work and bad for my taste. It's disappointing when you start off what looks like it's going to be a really good story, only to kind of have it fall apart halfway through.Or the end just sucks.
Take Metal, for example- I really enjoyed it at first(even the one-shots were great), but the last few issues were borderline garbage. He just tries to cram WAY too much content into a handful of issues... Needs to get better at streamlining, and/or just make the series a few issues longer.
Anyway, I don't think Snyder is bad at all(JL has been decent enough so far), but it's fairly obvious that he's still trying to imitate Morrison to an extent... Thing is, he's just not on that level, so his cosmic-scale event's don't carry over the same way. He needs to do his own thing, imo.

But I'm digging the hell out of his GL series because he's doing things with Lanterns that hasn't been done for a LONG time(if ever), and really going wild with that continuity, as well as the greater multiverse. It's got that pre-Johns Lantern vibe, mixed with a bit of classic/LSD-era Doom Patrol. 👆

Well, seems Superman is going to keep Supermaning. Dude is legit unbeatable when he needs to be, not really sure how anyone can deny it at this point, aside from the usual trolling and lowballing of course. Supes doing broken shit seems to have legit become common place.

Indeed. That's what is so crazy. It's just so casual. Yup, Supes can just casually break space time if he feels like it. I mean holy shit. Now don't get me wrong, as a big Supes fan I love that they are embracing this fundamental aspect of his character, I just didn't think they'd embrace it so hard so quickly, lol.

Morrison *says* that he doesn't do hallucinogens these days....But if you read comics like "Annihilator" or "Nameless", you'll realize that he's a f*cking liar. No sober mind can write shit like that. 👆
I saw this interview on the trips he used to take while high, shit made me giggle the way he was explaining it.
Maybe since he used to take it so much, now all he needs to do is believe he’s high, and bam! He’s sending himself in a self induce trip.
I honestly don’t think in this point and time, anyone can reach this man level in writing. I’ll even say he’s about the greatest Comic book writer both past and present. Not only that, his books are constantly rate from good to great.
I can still pick up his New 52 Action Comic run and still be amaze by it. And that’s why I am surprise DC haven’t given him a higher role.

Snoke had a lot of potential, it's just a shame Rian chose to destroy him instead.
It's pretty bad when one comic can give Snoke more depth and overall characterization then he got in two films, lol.

What do you guys classify as PIS?Batman, for example. Is he PIS?
What about Grodd?
There's a fine line between "PIS" and "haxx".

it's so stupid that words fail to even convey how retarded it is. I get that GL to rings can absorb energy, but the Omega Effect? Have they downgraded Darkseid's untimate attack to nothing less than heat vision? I'm also not happy at all about Jessica coming back to life only one issue later. They couldn't even wait a single year before ressurecting her?
I'm more surprised that she didn't just tank the OE from the onset. srug

Yeah not a fan of art style, but the first 3 issues well 4 now are solid. I'm a fan of the ingenious ways he's utilized his board for specific need(drilling inside Ego & pulling G's incubator) on the fly. I also liked the battle scene in issue 1. It wasn't just Surfer standing and blasting, but also using a lot of acrobatic physicality while using the power cosmic.
