Here's what I'm fairly certain of:
-Superman isn't going to die.
-The DCU isn't going to die.

What I'm not sure of:
-Ozy. He is the ultimate wild card in this -- if he hasn't engineered some sort of dues ex contingency into their confrontation, I'll be shocked.

superman is going to drop manhattan, and ozy is going to try and recruit supes to save his world.

Nahhhhh

More like Superman will punch Manhattan. Nothing will happen. They will talk and Superman will convince him to be the “Superman” to his universe/multiverse. They will talk out their difference; while Ozy tries to run after his plan fails but Batman/Alfred/Rors will confront him.

I’m pretty confident this is how it will go down. Death of manhattan can’t happen because they will want to sell on the TV series coming out. Superman won’t lose because he has been labeled as the foundation

I hope I’m wrong but it will be a disappointment. Issue 10 will likely be the best issue of this series considering dialogue was very good

...You want them to fight?

If they reboot dcu one more time I will be done with comic book forever

Why tf is Zoe Quinn writing for DC. I honestly think Dan Dildo hates DC, legit

In any case, they'll still have to explain why Manhattan cannot see ANY future beyond Superman's punch.

He believes this is because Superman either kills him or he destroys existence; but there could very well be another possibility, which is where I think Ozy fits in. Keep in mind that everything that's happened so far has been masterminded by Ozy -- including the 'fight' between Superman and Manhattan. He definitely has a plan, and it's all coming together perfectly... I do, however, think Ozy plans on dying here, but that is ALSO part of his plan.

Tbh, this cover from issue #8 was likely more telling than anyone realized at first:

Ozy IS the puppeteer in this.

I don't think it will be a reboot so much as a clean slate that 'undoes' some of the previous alterations to cosmology.

I'd be more interested in seeing Bats and Ozy fight.

Maybe next year...?

From what we've saw DDC so far, I think it will more like Lex VS Ozy

Yeah, you're right.

But one can dream.

True. Ozy is definitely setting all this up.

You think he'll die though? I was figuring that he would survive beyond this. mmm

I think it's possible:

"That tomb will be a monument."

😕

What are the limits of the Starbrand?

Current? It's planet-level...

haw-som

How big is that planet though?

Is it hollow?

👆

Pretty sure tiny, hollow planets are the default setting unless the density and dimensions are explicitly stated in the issue.

I thought planets only became tiny and hollow when Superman was involved.
