This is a bit random but is there a particular reason why Snyder chose to make the DC One Million Earth look so dark and dingy? -Seems like I remember it being a bright, shining utopia. What gives?
By that point Brainiac had already infected/overtaken the timeline, so that could explain why Snyder wanted it to look a bit 'gritty' there... And it was also storming, so yeah. /shrug

What slightly annoys me is how most writers forget that in the 853rd century, all of earth's cities are supposed to be tucked inside Tesseract space that the inhabitants can enter/exit via certain access points that are blended into earth's natural landscape... The earth itself is devoid of any manmade structures and is in pristine condition:

Details like that are what I LOVED about the original series... Shame no one uses them now. 🙁
I know there's something going on we don't know, but how was Carol able to separate Thor from Mjolnir?
And why does separating Thor from Mjolnir have him go from tanking her attacks to getting taken out? Especially since the Mother Storm retcon.
These are questions I would like to be answered.....but I know will not. Thor really needs to bring back Donald Blake weakness. In hindsight, something like that (Or Kryptonite for Superman, Banner for Hulk etc.) does a lot to preserve credibility for these guest appearances. Think about all the times turning human has created a plausible lose.
Or you can pull a Surfer and only appear twice a year.

the new king thor issue it looks like-
Got it. Doesn't look like he warped the universe, it just shows that he's been feeding off it to grow stronger. Whats odd is the storyline seems off...i feel like the author has run out of ideas and is just going for bigger and bigger. Their isnt any method to the madness just a bunch of shit happening.
What i dont understand is all these off-putting depictions of Thor/Gorr/Knull.

How much did it take him? Can't read the issue right now, but I see years mentioned in the scans?

True. Lame but true....Gorr should be used sparingly, not villain of the month. It doesn't state an amount of time just that he's been feeding so dunno. Its woefully underwhelming considering the scale of God Butcher arc...which makes methink that it was a fluke and not a true depiction of his skill

Love that Gorr have been officially shown as a Universal being but this goes again Knull since he is the creator of the sword but have not as of yet displayed that kind of power. Would this make the user stronger than the master or is this a display of Knull power.
It means that Marvel writers are doing whatever and the editor sucks at his job. Thor (current, classic, young, old) fights and beats Gorr but struggles with Malekith. Surfer beats Knull while weakened. Thor gets wrecked by Carol and Mjolnir gets bfred. Oh and a Starbrand got killed by a rockslide.
