Yeah, it has been teased SO much since Rebirth. Here's another example:

I like the way Manhattan described the previous Crisis events(along with the one he caused): as essentially alterations in the past that changed the future. IOW, the pasts are still there(Manhattan even traveled back to them) -- they all just need to be consolidated properly. I know we've discussed it before, but there's no way that isn't the endgame here...

Yeah, how does that work, the pasts still being there. Is it like that Brilliant Black widow one shot for Marvel?

It doesn't really work, if it's the same continuity, all major characters will have multiple origins and the canon will be a bigger mess

I say go for it though, at least they are trying to fix it.

I think so, At least from what i have read, There isn''t any evidence suggest' he isn't the same person

Is it the same version that appeared in Justice League Elite, as evil alternate timeline Captain Atom?

Except he claimed to be the original real Captain Atom, who was displaced by "fake/time duplicate" good Captain Atom, and then the story kind of ended with both Monarch and Captain Atom believing it.

Pretty sure it was never resolved, and just kind of forgotten about by DC writers.

Anyone reading Yandus solo...shit has a very 90s lobo vibe

All of the characters' pasts still exist on some level... They were not deleted outright when the various Crisis events happened, but rather, new futures were created by altering certain events in those pasts(we saw this when Manhattan literally traveled back to golden/silver age DC.) So it seems like the endgame here is that all of DC's pasts(from 1938 to now) will be consolidated into ONE unified/canon history... Essentially making everything canon.

I'm not exactly sure how this can be accomplished unless Manhattan undoes all of the alterations caused by every Crisis event in DC history... OR he simply undoes the alterations to Superman's past, and the Metaverse adjusts itself around him accordingly(because EVERYTHING in the Metaverse is intrinsically linked to him in a very literal sense.) Either way, I think it will ALL become canon.

Not to jump the gun.....but what does this mean when PC Superman is now on the cards, and Flash etc?

Hell, even Batman suddenly becomes a guy who's outright killed people before.

Does beatboks suddenly become relevant??

srug

Just have to wait and see how things pan out, I guess.

this is in Venom?
Yeah, Maker's had a side-story in the Venom series for a while now.

Legitimately surprised to see the Council of Reeds again, though... Even more interesting is that Maker is evidently planning to bring back Ultimate earth.

I really think so they already have a planned timeline for the main universe, like everything is canon with small alterations, they acknowledge bronze age, silver age, golden age etc.

I laughed.

Once everything pre-1986 becomes canon, we'll have an influx of 50-60 years old that have been biding their time in dropping knowledge since COIE.

Bada will be the only one close in age to reign them in.

F#cking hell. I never even considered this......would make total sense.

Everything in DC come from metaverse and Superman.
Everytging in DC is byproduct of them and has been changed and expanded according to changes to metaverse and Superman.
I can't understand why people even hate this metafictional fact despite it really make sense.
This interpretation has been confirmed again and again in many works, hasn't it?

They already did something similar with Rebirth, so it's very possible, I think.

BTW, What do you think about strongest force in DC universe?
I think reader's and writer's imagination(probably The Source itself) are strongest because it is the force to create story.
So, The source(imagination) or Overvoid(canvas) or Empty Hand(anti-imagination) may be strongest.
Superman is probably the first born created by the imagination.

Galan what do you make of Morrison saying The Endless resides in sphere of gods, yet on the top of the map we see destiny's book chains the entire dc multiverse
I would assume that only means Endless lives at Spheres of God but they operate on a much higher existence, after all they are the primal concepts of the dc omniverse

also I see a lot of threads discussing cosmic level beings are deleted, this forum truly is old and having glitch issues.

MrMaster's ghost is deleting them

It's Mr Master, working FROM BEYOND.

I actually think he is doing it somehow, not joking

few Marvel vs DC cosmic threads threads I noticed that he posted in it that got into an heated exchange when he was losing an argument, has been deleted and not found. Could be my imagination though

Maybe we are just figments of Master's imagination? After all I'm just the "Mind" dreaming about such illuminati consipracy while he is the "Master" that's dancing in the dark, pulling every string.

Yes.

We are his constructs.

This is Mr Master's show.
