Another question that's been bothering me-Why couldn't Manhattan see anything after the punch Superman threw towards him? If everything is preordained then that's the way it was always going to end, so he should have been able to see how things turned out from the beginning right? 😕
Prior to that, Manhattan could not see the future, because that future simply did not exist. He essentially wove a new future just after 'the punch', and then seamlessly attached this new future to mainstream DC's current past/present.
