I thought Prime was trapped in the source wall

^ That was the last we saw of him before the reboot, but evidently that's been changed... It looks like he's been trapped in that prison cell for a LONG time.

Maybe when source wall was exploded he had escaped but later trapped by the council of wizards?

Would certainly make sense. 👆

This was my second question actually. I really want to see him escape and interact with Supes

I'd wait to see how things unfold a bit before we just throw Prime's immunity to magic out the window.

He's going to be the antagonist in a series that focuses exclusively on magical beings, and Johns(his biggest fanboy) will be writing him... It's very unlikely that he'll randomly start being explicitly vulnerable to magic, imo.

It's also worth noting that under Johns, the Council of Eternity > Spectre... So even IF their magics legitimately affected Prime, I certainly wouldn't call it a low showing or w/e. /shrug

Writers sometimes forget their own rules and laws when the need to forward the story takes precedence. No matter how ludacris it may seems.

Prime is one of my favorite villains, I would rather have him disappear forever, then to be brought back and be insulted left and right. Thinking of you Teen Titans. 😠 that shit still annoys me.

PS: "You won't listen. So they sent me... Be glad they couldn't persuade the Spectre."
Pandora: "I've already been judged, Stranger. By a higher power than that. The Spectre doesn't scare me."

...And the Council of Eternity are obviously who judged Pandora:

Ergo they are the "higher power" that she was referring to.

Edited, you asshole. 👆

😉

Gotta say, that was incredibly satisfying.

That Lex fight....is it me, or does it feel like writers are getting this stuff straight from Battle Zones?

Which fight? Against the turned heroes?

That fight also implies that Superman is immune to Apex Lex's telepathy. 🙂

Surprised Shazam was shut down so easily. Like what a waste

Are we that surprise?

For all we know, Carver is Pak in disguise.

Couldn't be. He would've never left hulk for lesser characters
