Has it ever been explained WHY Superboy Prime is so ridiculously strong (even among current Kryptonians)??

Like, I know we all assume it's because he's from the silver age, but has a official explanation ever been given onpanel?

Like Pr said, I have always just assumed it's because Prime is fully unleashed all the time. He does not try to restrain his powers like Superman does.

...And his Silver Age haxx certainly doesn't hurt, either.

He's also not affected by kryptonite and has way higher resistances against magic so your standard kryptonian rules don't necessarily apply in the first place.

Prime is still affected by k-nite from his reality, and red sun radiation weakens him as well.

But his resistance to magic is certainly greater than other Kryptonians. 👆

The best SBP feat to date is his performance against Teen Titans... 😖hifty:

With Manhattan's "breakdown" of magic (it's basically just scraps of creation) I do wonder why Kryptonians are specifically weak against it??

Superman singles out/detects Dianna's specific heartbeat while listening from space:

And fyi, Diana always fluctuates from a mere meta to herald level, so none of her showings make any sense.

Let's stop pretending she constantly operates at Superman's level or close to it.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen Diana operating as mere meta though.

Even Clark sometimes operates on a meta level for the first 90% of an arc, until he says **** this.
