god of strength could also be referring to superman still, many "gods" have different titles.

I doubt they'd list Superman twice.

Question about current Thor- what level was he supposed to have been operating at before the cosmic power amp he got from Galactus? Because in that first issue standard Thor already seemed pretty damned impressive .

Pretty high, he's meant to have all the power being King of Asgard provides

He is suppose to be be Odin level but he isn’t operating at those levels. Not even close..at least not Odin at his strongest

Thor is definitely superior to Odin based on Aaron’s run. Otherwise, no way!!

The biggest blunder is the stupid Mjolnir enchantment. Odin places it, yet, Thor can’t remove it.

Odin had trouble overcoming the hammer himself... so it's consistent.

Unfortunately, Thor being as powerful as current Odin prior to the amp wouldn't be saying a whole lot.
