did i miss something from justice league 39? like what happened in between the issues?

edit: and in the Immortal Hulk: Great Power, did hulk confirm that he wasnt affected by parker and mephisto's deal?

@Alberto

You realize those are two completely different cases?

The best guess is that by gaining the ability to actively absorb others, Hulk sacrificed some of his own resistance to having his energies tampered with.

I'd probably just consider it a high showing for Loki seeing as IH resisted draining from Rogue etc

She drained him just fine though. The problem was that her drain was TOO good....she started getting too Hulk like and had to keep telling herself to stay calm:

Main difference being that Rogue absorbed Hulk's power into herself, while Loki just used a spell to remove his power and send it elsewhere.

@DS

Yes.

Same reason why she couldn't handle Moon Knight. Because of his psyche, not raw power.

Again, IH got the ability to drain gamma-people all he wants to... and, ironically, that appears to have left him vulnerable in that area.

Some really good energy manipulators like Rogue should be able to drain Hulk. It just..shouldn’t matter.

He’ll get angry. Absorbing Man was an exception but his power ceiling was ridiculously high.

Loki straight depowered him. That’s some mystical bullshit that isn’t attributable to others and should be viewed as unique.

👆

Loki is Loki. He was just mentally raping both Hulk and Thor recently. Two high resistant mind blockers.

It's quite disturbing.

To carver, it doesn't matter if Loki is male, female, adult, teenager or a kid... to him, it's all the same...

"Lol....it's true though"

-Carver9

Lol... not what I'm saying. I'm saying that he is a powerful Mage.

No love for Titannus?

Yes, Hulk powers through his attacks and win. Loki needs a team for this. [/B]

Loki is a walking plot device.
Remember god of stories? Wtf is that even about?

@Rage. Immortal Hulk can be drained though. Look at “Immortal Sasquatch” and he was drained by Hulk to be completely depowered. Why this is important as Ewing stated Walter created a perfect replication of Hulk’s experiment and was a perfect copy of hulk (even said Tanaraq just made Sasquatch hairy). In the issue they even said they had matching energy signatures. Just Walters mindset doesn’t always let him reach hulk’s upper limits due to his more carefree attitude but at that time Brian Banner was in control and he’s very much like his boys mindset

Not really, this arc supposedly takes place before Scott's JL
But they phucked off, In this issue still mentioning Superman revealed his identity and Alfred death

What they're trying to do with JL is an absolute clusterf*ck.
