Did anyone else see the 'in memoriam' page from the X books dedicated to Gerry Alangulian?

I guess it was nice of Marvel to do that, but couldn't they have picked a more flattering picture of the dude? He looks exactly like that creepy smile Filipino guy.

srsly

That's exactly why they chose that photo.

good lord. the resemblance is uncanny.

It's very real, sadly.

DCEU is the worst cinematic universe in history.

I haven't kept up with the Sentry much, I know that he apparently appeared in an Annihilation comic somewhere but in the "non merged" form. But a couple of days ago I saw one scan of this merged Sentry talking to a Fat Cobra. Is this some continuity screw up?

Its from Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda. Set just prior to Annihilation Scourge. In fact, it's how he ends up in the. Cancerverse in the first place.

Didn't even know he was in teh Cancerverse haha, shows how out of touch I am. So would it be correct to say that Sentry for some reason just isn't merged anymore then?

So he was merged in BP and the Agents of Wakanda.

Then split up in Annihilation.

Then remerged by Surfer.

Ah I see thanks for your help mate.

more confirmation that the Speed Force influences the entire Multiverse and even keeps it moving. As well as further proof that Barry is able to pull all of Time forward with him. 😂

I think Kang confirmed that 2099 universe is indeed the direct future of the current timeline. Which is interesting because it’s been widely believed that like all universes and timelines they have simply been alternates. thoughts?

That was confirmed in a Spider-Man book 1-2 months ago.

what issue?

I think the date is right, 2016 they had confirmed that Kang prime himself was a merge of all his displaced iterations throughout time also referencing the council of kangs. I believe that this may still be one of his variances derived from Kang Prime himself

Generally speaking, alternate timelines in Marvel = alternate universes. That said, Marvel has indeed tied the 2099-verse directly to their mainstream reality/future:

That's also why there has been a HUGE push in 2099 material the past few months.

In case someone was interested

I can't wait for the year 2099 and repost this to prove Marvel wrong.

Galan's scan is bigger than yours.
