I haven't kept up with the Sentry much, I know that he apparently appeared in an Annihilation comic somewhere but in the "non merged" form. But a couple of days ago I saw one scan of this merged Sentry talking to a Fat Cobra. Is this some continuity screw up?
Its from Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda. Set just prior to Annihilation Scourge. In fact, it's how he ends up in the. Cancerverse in the first place.

Didn't even know he was in teh Cancerverse haha, shows how out of touch I am. So would it be correct to say that Sentry for some reason just isn't merged anymore then?

I think Kang confirmed that 2099 universe is indeed the direct future of the current timeline. Which is interesting because it’s been widely believed that like all universes and timelines they have simply been alternates. thoughts?

what issue?
I think the date is right, 2016 they had confirmed that Kang prime himself was a merge of all his displaced iterations throughout time also referencing the council of kangs. I believe that this may still be one of his variances derived from Kang Prime himself
