That art is hideous though, so am not even going to look at it any further.

Did he do it in 8.5 minutes?

Not exactly. Legion of Doom attacking him happened 8 minutes before he went to the Hall of Justice to tell the Wonder Twins to put it on lockdown, and there he met with Young Justice and had a talk about what's happening. At this point, the chronology of what's happening is annoying to follow in general, since Bendis is stretching this arc to its absolute maximum of decompression, and each issue looks the same. I'll have to look at it again to see when Batman, Diana, Justice League, Young Justice appear, when the Legion attacks, when they fight etc.

The art truly is...something.

Something like 100 000 000 000 times the speed of light. Not an unusual feat for Superman. 👆

Yeah, at this point it's just random high-end numbers popping up every month.

Hyperion can find Asgard I think. He calls Thor a brother like their own kind.
That means marvel has a whole list of 100 ton strengths still on hold.
It will make Thor the strongest even when the competition is severe.
Then Gorr the Godslayer will fight at a new level against those like the gods.

DC comics might shut down. Didio was just the beginning.

YouTube video

"While not yet officially announced, following the New 52 and Rebirth, 5G is DC's next publishing initiative that is said to see its classic characters replaced with new ones, such as a new black Batman, with comics priced as high as $7.99.

"[5G] is the basis for all of DC Comics in the future,” "

In that case good riddance.

When you mismanage some of the greatest characters in fiction that badly, you get what you deserve.

Has anyone here had the pleasure of reading the classic Action Comic stories?

The way Injustice Superman got started before he went off the deep end? Golden age Superman was like that.

"Traffic accidents are up. This looks like a job for a guy who can wreck every car in the impound lot!"

He essentially punched every social problem of the era. Bad housing, superpunch. Factories creating guns, superpunch. The military attacked him all the time for this, as he was wrecking stuff.

It was great.

From my personal thought, The golden age Superman stories were interesting from beginning, But it mainly involved to social problems during that era, So if you reading dozen issues in one sitting it will get bored......

A lot of readers failed to understand, that Clark didn’t become the Boy Scout after the pre crisis era. Before that, Clark was a dick.

He’s the same guy that tossed a husband through a window into pier, when he busted in when the guy was beating his wife. Later we found out the guy couldn’t swim.

Unless some pages are missing from the preview, it looks like Leviathan is going to teleport Superman across the galaxy... And then Supes flies back to earth in a single page:

Also just saw that Animal Man is returning in JLD.

Noice. 👆

Fake news, thankfully. Sucks that DiDio got canned though.

So looks like SBP still has the magic immunity, The reason why he had been imprisoned was due to magical red sun on the door which keeping him from powering on

This goes back to my question about immunities.

If the magicians magick up a red sun (which....could be possible I guess?) Then SBP would be depowered by it, no? Same way if they created a rock, and Shazam threw that rock at him, it would still physically hit him....

I'm more interested in the last two panels. Is SBP keeping his 4th wall breaking then?

Yup.

So, the power of Shazam is legitimately that of a high-end wizard, on top of his stats.

All sorts of high-end spells are available to him.
