Is this even canon?
😆
random
was flipping through mxy stories, remember Ultimator the 10th dimensional monster that manifestate past present future and all possibilities of DC reality ?
the one who got bfred by Mxy and trapped in dream's realm slept for eternity
well he was real, ultimator is actually not made up, supported by this scan

also this reddit pic of DC cosmic hierarchy was cool. They did forget Original Ion, ZH Parallax, Nabu, Shazam and many others
but most of the major players was mentioend

However, not only was Ultimator the personification of the 10th dimension, but she implied that she'd already devoured dimensions 9-6 prior to appearing in the 5th dimension:

"It is my destiny to ingest all other dimensions and lifeforms -- to make them part of myself. Four dimensions have already fallen to me -- yours shall be the fifth!"
And then Mxy beat her with his 5D shenanigans, implying that he is > dimensions 6-10... Which probably doesn't hold much merit now.
Especially since Imps were previously able access the 6th dimension with absolutely no problem(this is pre-Snyder, obviously):

We've even seen beings from the 6th dimension on panel(ie. the Cathexis):

Their tech was fairly impressive, but certainly not something that would give the majority of DC's 'great powers' much pause, imo(especially with how they were ultimately beaten.)
Hell, Mxy himself used to pop-into the 7th dimension on occasion:

So yeah, quite a bit has changed with DC's higher-dimensional infrastructure now.

damn almost forgot about this
Wish DC stop contradict themselves so much. I say the concept of 6th dimension =beyond imagination is interesting, the multiversal control room is a good idea if done right. But to use it just to control the multiverse is cheesy.
Snyder likes to come up with his own concept and want everyone else built theirs around his. But he usually doesn't establish it in detail well enough and then just jump into another one, same with dark multiverse. He needs a continuity buff to connect his own concepts well together with the already established cosmic hierarchy, keep him in check

Yeah, Snyder definitely needs to collaborate with someone who knows more about how to properly write large-scale cosmic characters/events than he does... There's a reason why The Wild Hunt was arguably the best individual issue of Metal, after all:

and more contradictions is mxy pop-into 7th dimension is in ending battle, after superman annoyed by mxy, then going mad,and mxy get little scary,so pop-into 7th dimension without sweat.now snyder version require mxy all power to open a portal to 6th dimension......

So yeah, Snyder is retooling quite a bit of cosmology here. Fingers crossed it's all for the better. /shrug
Mark Waid also had beings from the 6th dimension [iirc] around JLA 50+ish [I think right before Terror Incognita].
Suffice to say, they were underwhelming.
I never liked there being above 5th dimensions - specifically when the 5th is literally imagination [i.e. omnipotence]. Or, at the very least, there's 5 'comic book' dimensions [i.e. the 5th gets in meta [mxy], and you can get Cosmic Armor/Mandrakk starting around there], and there multiple 'in-Universe' dimensions [i.e. random beings who can "grant wishes" or whatever bullshit]
