The Monitor Sphere already acted as a sort of 'control room' so to speak. Turns out it was just a mod room and the Razzes (Razi?) of the DC multiverse are tap dancing on the graves of KMDC in the admin room.

Suffice to say, they were underwhelming.

I never liked there being above 5th dimensions - specifically when the 5th is literally imagination [i.e. omnipotence]. Or, at the very least, there's 5 'comic book' dimensions [i.e. the 5th gets in meta [mxy], and you can get Cosmic Armor/Mandrakk starting around there], and there multiple 'in-Universe' dimensions [i.e. random beings who can "grant wishes" or whatever bullshit]

👆

And that's without getting into some of the other old stuff, like Dr. Magnus referencing 12.33 dimensions:

Or Kid Devil visiting the 52nd dimension:

With how Morrison has laid out cosmology now(which most writers appear to be at least trying to follow), the 5th dimension definitely *should* be the highest, as it is pure imagination in a very 'meta' sense. Snyder is just trying to out-meta it by introducing the 6th dimension... I hope it's done well, but I'm not holding my breath.

Maybe..that...actually is the control room? But it got destroyed at the end of FC, so a new one was made? I dunno.

I doubt Snyder will ignore Morrison. He's literally going by his map.

One thing I like about his story, is that he made a reasonable explanation for Anti-Monitor [and Monitors] being reborn. They just go back, and out again.

The Monitor Sphere was still shown on the Map of the Multiverse that Mxy used to explain cosmology in this issue, so I'd say it's still there:

And according to Mxy, the 4th dimension(ie. Monitor Sphere) = time:

*On a sidenote: I just realized that the 5th dimension(ie. imagination) = The Bleed:
https://i.imgur.com/Mozug7X.jpg
"Imagination is the blood of the multiverse, the energy that flows between the realms."

Neat... And also helps explain how Mandrakk became so damn powerful by consuming The Bleed. He was essentially eating 5D energy. 🙂

I can't get excited for anything Snyder writes because I'm expecting a huge flop. And I'm already not a fan of this so it can only get worse from here.

Am I blind, or cannot I not see the 5th dimension?

this fourth dimendion =time is actually the same explanation to fourth dimension in jla issues iirc.and think superman now could contain 5d energy at his mouth is impressive

I don't see it either, though I imagine that's because Morrison would probably put it outside of more "material" realms like the ones shown.

You have to imagine it

Not sure if you're joking or serious, because you're probably right either way.

YouTube video

hold it.maybe that fifth dimension is bleed actually come from morrison's concept
multiversity
""bleedspace.........it's rotating through the fifth dimension around a fixed point in the structure of the multiversal orrery of worlds"

Mandrakk feeding on imagination is perfect, since he's meta-entropy.

As far as I can connect based off the top...

Morrison was using a lot of concepts from Brane theory, which should fit in with Bleed descriptions. But then we get that Branefold dimension which serves as a space for hypertime so realities don't touch each other.
Considering both are based off the same real life concept it's possible they're intentioned to be the same, or at least occupy the same space.

Now, if the Bleed is actually rotating around the 5th Dimension, that would only make it a part of the 5th Dimension. Which would mean Bleedspace is only a possible fraction of it/it just resides within it.

And it looks like some of these little shapes look Impish/childish to me, though that might be my imagination and they're just Gods. I'm basing this also off the star depictions as well, but again, that could just be the best way to highlight that they're stars. But it would make sense for "Imaginary" beings to just be sprinkled throughout in an open space with no emphasis in said Multiverse sphere.

Also lol at Carol tanking the Penance Stare. That might have been the most nonsensical Stare tanking that has ever happened.

Zeus and Neptune beating Nyx is a decent feat too. Same with Zeus shattering her shit. Zeus >>> Odin confirmed

Finally something skyfatheryish for Zeus. Sort of.

Mandrakk was the personification of evil thought-form: an anti-story. Makes perfect sense that his power would be bolstered by consuming the pure, untainted imagination that spawns the very essence of stories.

It's cool and all, but if you're insinuating that it helps build a case for Manhattan being superior to Mxy, it doesn't.

From this weeks JL:

F*cking with Lantern energy is less than nothing to Mxy.

hallucination.

So the 5th dimension is supposed to be the highest plane of existence except the overvoid?

Jesus christ, guy.

It's like you pay less attention here than you do your BZ challenges.
