The problem is that Bendis is currently garbage, and Bendis writes powerful characters at the expense of pre-established characters. So Bendis writes a powerful hero, but he can't balance it between good writing and not jobbing out characters. And this will be a problem somewhere down the line because he will never find a balance. Not a monetary problem either because for whatever reason, Bendis moves stacks. The best you can hope for is that your favorite villains don't make an appearance.
Bendis writes like his main character is Goku, and everyone else is a supporting character in the old DBZ movies.

Now Aaron is just fukking with everyone. Random hammers and random Gods survive in the sun longer than Mjolnir, which goes kablooey the second it hits the sun. Thor is more durable than Mangog. And Thor has a shard of Mjolnir from it blowing up too.
He's just doing this to piss Ferny off. Next arc Thor will get burned by a flamethrower.
