Animated Trek vs Animated Transformer was kind of disappointing.
Spoiler:
The Trek weapons couldn't even really hurt the Transformers. Trypticon was merely annoyed by starship phaser fire. Then the final few pages of the series happen, and Klingon warbirds one shot them all after "modifying" their phasers to be more effective against Cybertronians.
If it was that easy, you'd think the the Transformers could modify one shot guns against city bots. Which they can't.
The issue with Sentry is that he never gets another showing consistent with his better showings in an arc or a certain portrayal.
WWH never repeated
Death Sentry never repeated
Molecule Man never repeated
Fused Sentry already gone
Voidtry too
And his current Stable Sentry Guardian of shit form just seems to be a typical brick Superman like character
I think that's why it's hard for people to get behind him. Logically he should be a superfast/strong/durable/blaster with matter manipulations, a huge healing effect to the point where he's a thought being, and great TP, but that's just cobbling everything together as best as you can because who knows what his powers will be in any given arc?
They really need to figure out an actual direction with him. It's like Marvel doesn't have an outline, and nobody talks to anyone else, nor do they read past arcs.

It’s not a matter of being inconsistent. It’s a matter of Marvel not knowing what to do with him because he is so powerful. As seen in his latest arc.
He always has his powers....

That's an excellent theory because it fits with Sentry's complex narrative.
The only thing that bothers me with that is that Marvel writers tend to ignore this kind of subtelty altogether, so unless it was communicated in house it'll be difficult to see it come into effect in the future.

Nice little preview
So DC multiverse is within a omniverse. Perpetua isn’t the only Super Celestial being (or the monitors, world breaker). She didn’t original wield the 7 energies
