😂 SEE that's the difference between Batman and Superman. Batman does what he can as Bruce Wayne in order to help the maximum amount of people he possibly can outside of being a crime fighter. That's one of the primary reasons why he exists as Bruce Wayne is to help those who are not being directly victimized by crime at the moment. Wayne Tech/Wayne Corp has numerous charities, provides gear to police, etc...

Charities to whom? Gear to a corrupt police force in Gotham?

If he really wanted to help Gotham, he should kill his villains.

Clark Kent being Superman is a waste because Clark Kent being Superman doesn't ensure that he will be able to help the maximum amount of people that he possibly can. OCCASIONALLY, Superman may deal with a threat that is on a global or even galactic scale, but that doesn't happen every day. When you break it down, given his powers and ability, he is one of the least effective comicbook characters in creation. Period

I'll address the rest when I come back, phones about to die.

So it's more like what you want Superman to do rather than the actual character himself?

This is the Humans V Mutants discussion all over again.

But Magneto is justified, and also, all humans should die IRL

Weak as f*ck.

"The Boys" is a great series, but power-wise, they weren't impressive. Ennis hates superheroes.

Depleted uranium rounds can hurt him.

And forget about a nuke.

Yeah, a nuke could kill him outright. Stated a few times in the series, iirc.

He'd probably be somewhere in the meta-tier based on feats.

I have a feeling you have some depleted uranium in your *******.

A prop sword broke his skin.

And Noir was reduced to cripple zombie state by artillery and machine gun fire.

Luke Cage is mid-meta and he would tank all of that just fine.

I know I say this a lot, but Iron Fist could fist him.

Cage would beat him like he owes him money.

He could be a high meta equivalent of superman (taking all of his powers into account), with much lower durability than some mid metas (like Luke Cage).

And I think Homelander's best strength feat was throwing a jet... Which isn't really that impressive in the scheme of things.

Remember Stormfront?

He was supposed to be the second best and he got beat with what?

F*cking sticks, lol. Carried by metas (as The Boys were enhanced), but still.

Unless I missed something saying those were super-sticks...

Think he freaked out about glass in his eye too.

Stormfront?

Yeah, he has. He still took it pretty well, but needed to flee to recover.

Well, to be honest, even in comics high tier characters hit and hurt each other with mundane objects. It's one of those things.

And it makes sense, otherwise the only thing they could ever use is adamantium street poles or the like and that wouldn't make for good visuals.

Used by other high tier characters.

That stuff never bothers them unless the one using it can throw it into the sun. Here they're just getting hurt by common stuff from common, if enhanced, people. And regular military weapons.

Of course.

But in "The Boys" universe it was incredibly common.

Their strongest heroes weren't legit herald level; standard military could still handle them, nukes or no nukes.
