Yeah, a human who knows 127 martial arts, is an expert in everything, never actually works in business and inherited a large wealth is relatable but an immigrant who works hard for his job and is basically helping others because he wants to isn't.
That's like the most absurd logic ever.
Yeah, you're right. Batman isn't moral (that no kill policy), isn't near invincible (Batman always wins is actually a thing in comics now) and doesn't boss everyone around (😂 ).
Your argument is more for Batman being that Mary sue character than Superman here.
actually I can't even remotely relate to his human upbringing
The largest motivators in human psychology are self interest related. He's nothing like any person I've ever met or heard of from a personality/psychology standpoint 🤷🏿‍♂️
So.... Superman reflects humanity because he personifies some idealized altruism that none of us actually live? 😂😂😂 I'd like you to read history, the news, take a walk, Google whoever you want and find me a person who matches Clark. Gandhi was a flagrant racist. Martin Luther King was cheating on his wife. You're seeing ghosts. Even the best of us are nowhere near as good as Clark. You're wilding.
Except, Superman is the more unbelievable and nonsensicle of the two, not disputable.
Here is a man, who literally can do ANYTHING. And I do mean ANYTHING. He can read everything, learn everything, absorb information at an extremely high rate of speed due to his alien nature, in addition to his physical feats and the best way he thinks he can help the world, is as a vigilante.
He chooses a venture that ensures that his reach and ability to help people is severely limited, and only limited to those in trouble due to being victims of IMMEDIATE crime. He could literally become the smartest person on the ENTIRE planet, and incorporate kryptonian science into human science and help billions of people and solve so many of the world's problems without throwing a single punch, lighting up something with his heat vision, or freezing something with his breath.
He can literally do what Batman attempts to do as Bruce Wayne, but a much better job at it to the point where it would put Wayne Tech/Wayne Corp out of business. Because unlike Bruce Wayne, Clark would be able to use his abilities as Superman in his normal life to make things better. Where as being Batman has no benefit to Bruce Wayne.
