This is a comic shop exclusive, which means there's no telling when a digital/HQ release will be available. So I went ahead and scanned my copy and posted it here:

I had to do it pretty quick, but everything should still be readable. That said, anyone who doesn't like the quality can f*ck right off. 👆

thanks for this galan.

it was a fun chapter, but reminded me how pissed i am that the series is canceled. 🙁

Not cancelled per se.

When something gets cancelled, you can blame the publisher.

It was officially ended by the writer himself, that's what sucks the most about it. Kirkman's own decision.

Thanks, and no problem.

I thought the Letter Hacks section was interesting too. Kirkman originally planned to have Maggie kill Negan in issue #174... But Adlard was against it, so Kirks changed the ending.

That's why Negan didn't appear again until that one panel in the finale: Kirkman already had the ending laid out for 4 years, and Negan wasn't part of it(because in his original ending, Negan was dead.)

The trolling was beautifully executed, tbf.

Kirkman even had Adlard draw up some bait covers/solicits for issues #194-196, just to fool us into thinking the series was continuing. What a dick.

Yeah, I remember. It's still a fresh wound, Galan.

If only.

Yeah, how does someone trying to help others just because he is a good person equate to childish moral compass? Superman is far more relatable because you can actually emulate his character in real life that is helping others because you're genuinely a good person.

Yeah, a human who knows 127 martial arts, is an expert in everything, never actually works in business and inherited a large wealth is relatable but an immigrant who works hard for his job and is basically helping others because he wants to isn't.

That's like the most absurd logic ever.

Yeah, you're right. Batman isn't moral (that no kill policy), isn't near invincible (Batman always wins is actually a thing in comics now) and doesn't boss everyone around (😂 ).

Your argument is more for Batman being that Mary sue character than Superman here.

actually I can't even remotely relate to his human upbringing

The largest motivators in human psychology are self interest related. He's nothing like any person I've ever met or heard of from a personality/psychology standpoint 🤷🏿‍♂️

So.... Superman reflects humanity because he personifies some idealized altruism that none of us actually live? 😂😂😂 I'd like you to read history, the news, take a walk, Google whoever you want and find me a person who matches Clark. Gandhi was a flagrant racist. Martin Luther King was cheating on his wife. You're seeing ghosts. Even the best of us are nowhere near as good as Clark. You're wilding.

Except, Superman is the more unbelievable and nonsensicle of the two, not disputable.

Here is a man, who literally can do ANYTHING. And I do mean ANYTHING. He can read everything, learn everything, absorb information at an extremely high rate of speed due to his alien nature, in addition to his physical feats and the best way he thinks he can help the world, is as a vigilante.
He chooses a venture that ensures that his reach and ability to help people is severely limited, and only limited to those in trouble due to being victims of IMMEDIATE crime. He could literally become the smartest person on the ENTIRE planet, and incorporate kryptonian science into human science and help billions of people and solve so many of the world's problems without throwing a single punch, lighting up something with his heat vision, or freezing something with his breath.
He can literally do what Batman attempts to do as Bruce Wayne, but a much better job at it to the point where it would put Wayne Tech/Wayne Corp out of business. Because unlike Bruce Wayne, Clark would be able to use his abilities as Superman in his normal life to make things better. Where as being Batman has no benefit to Bruce Wayne.

Try again

Then you have quite a shitty psychological profile. And no, the first instinct of normal humans is to help each other in case of emergency. That's how society exists.

And that's why Superman is the man of Tomorrow. He is the ideal human towards which humans should try to be if they want to be better.

Or rather be Batman, reveling in the worst aspects of your past, trying to destroy your and others life for a meaningless crusade.

So you want Superman to piggyback humanity to future instead of letting it overcome it's worst instincts and become better? Is that you, lex?

😂 SEE that's the difference between Batman and Superman. Batman does what he can as Bruce Wayne in order to help the maximum amount of people he possibly can outside of being a crime fighter. That's one of the primary reasons why he exists as Bruce Wayne is to help those who are not being directly victimized by crime at the moment. Wayne Tech/Wayne Corp has numerous charities, provides gear to police, etc...
Clark Kent being Superman is a waste because Clark Kent being Superman doesn't ensure that he will be able to help the maximum amount of people that he possibly can. OCCASIONALLY, Superman may deal with a threat that is on a global or even galactic scale, but that doesn't happen every day. When you break it down, given his powers and ability, he is one of the least effective comicbook characters in creation. Period

I'll address the rest when I come back, phones about to die.
