just finished reading 9 issues or so of Bendis Action comics, some of the worst stories I've ever read. terrible artwork, nothing going on, no plot, no dialogue, no awesome fight scenes, no interesting villains.
also dc new age of heroes are all failures, not one book interesting not one characters fun to read
However I just finished reading 70s doctor strange series, it was so fukin amazing. so deep and weird I love it the writers that time was on some serious drugs

That doesn't mean they're not real though. If I pretend to be Mike Tyson, and punch you.... sure, I'm not who I say I am.
Doesn't mean the punch isn't real, does it?
I simply said they're lying, it's a scam. The book says they're lying, it's a scam. In issue 21 the truth will be revealed that's it's a scam

I don't think Bendis can write anymore. I'm not sure he ever could actually besides broken people with personal stories. Superpowered hero stories however? I don't think he has anything that really stands out. Can't wait until he gets more power and tries tackling concepts and ideas. 👆
Despite the hate he get I used to like Bendis, especially during the Dark Reign era, Dark Avengers and Siege was great.
there's one big time writer in DC right now worse than Bendis, Fukin Tom King. However bad Superman story is right now, Heroes in Crisis is 10 times worse
I don't know how marvel fans complain about Aaron, I will gladly take Aaron over Tom King, despite the way he treat Thor, his books are entertaining as fuk, Avengers and Conan series are great

But all the book says that they're lying about is who they are.
Not that they're lying about the tasks, the effects, or the way they did it.
In future, sure, it might be revealed it's all nothing more than a dream.
But as of RIGHT NOW, you cannot say with certainty, based on any evidence, that they're lying about anything else besides their identity.

If they're lying about who they are, it's all a lie. Furthermore, that would also mean it's more than likely not John and Barry but YOU TWO acknowledge the fact so stop arguing with me
So if I pretend and lie that I'm Mike Tyson, and punch you in the face...the punch is also a lie? The strength I used, the bruise that appears, everything is a lie?
FURTHERMORE, 'Its more than likely' =/= 'Its definite', lol.
Which is my point.
A fist exchange can't exist without a name exchange taking place. You are not tangible in this world until you are known. It'd be like trying to use a credit card/no tap without having a passcode. You need the password to initiate the purchase, just like you need the real name to initiate the punch. Your real name is the password to your fist.
Seriously, try punching a stranger on the street without knowing their name, or them knowing yours. It doesn't really happen as you'll see.

And if I do so with a false name, would it even have happened???
The book states clearly: they are not who they say they are. They're lying. They're in the 6th dimension. Why do you keep coming back with some retarded face punch analogy when the book tells you they're full of shit
He refers to them as "these people"
🤷🏾‍♂️
Next time wait and save that wank energy til the story is further along
If I was a guessing man I'd say they're all 5th or 6th dimensional imps or some wild shit or the creation of 1 and hes just less powerful than the others 🤷ðŸ¾â€â™‚ï¸ who knows. What we do know is all this shit is fake because
*drumroll*
The book tells you it's all bullshit
Originally posted by DarkSaint85Certainly there seems to be a yet unrevealed 'architect' behind all this weirdness, but yeah, as of right now all we know is that these characters are not what they seem(which anyone could have guessed based on dialogue/appearance alone.)

Hidden identities aside, there is no reason to assume that the omniverse/Hypertime still isn't being manipulated on an all-encompassing level... Hell, given the sheer scale of this event I would actually be more shocked if the whole of creation isn't getting f*cked with. /shrug

All we know RIGHT NOW, is that they're lying about who they are.
Nothing more, nothing less.
In future, sure, we'd get more information and can say.
But as of right now, saying all of it is unreal is wrong and based on nothing.
I keep coming back to the analogy because it's exactly the same here. And you know full well you have nothing to counter it. And you understand and grasp the analogy, but refuse to acknowledge that it's correct.
