That's probably where they're going with it. Some sort of alternate universe version of Manhattan(they did say he was a Batman.)

Just cheapens the character even more, imo.

Question: Why does Wally West have ALL of dr manhattans power when Manhattan only put a fraction of his power into the chair?

He didn’t seem any weaker after, yet he put ALL OF IT into the chair?
How did the kid Manhattan adopted get any power after Jon decided too passed it on to him? Shouldn’t it have been in the chair?
Unless I’m missing something that’s just dumb.
