Comic Book Questions & Discussion

I took it as Superman essentially holding up everything that was taking place above him in the DCU(Atlas did note that holding up the Heavens keeps "everything from crashing down"😉 -- hence the representation of Superman shouldering the panels themselves. And the Heavens certainly have some degree of massive physical weight to them, as both Atlas and Superman commented on it.

Hardly a quantifiable showing, but still fun. The Heavens were basically the only thing that Superman hasn't lifted at this point, so at least we can cross that one off the list now. 👆

The age old question of "Can God make something so heavy that even Superman can't lift it?" has finally been answered with a resounding "No".

Still, why would a Greek Deity be responsible for holding up creation?

Does the Presence like Greek food maybe?

. I was thinking the same thing lol.

Poor Atlas. Superman does it for one day and it’s a huge feat for him, while Atlas has to get back to work and he’s not even getting an acknowledgement

ikr?

Why didn't Shazam get the strength of Atlas instead?

Hercules can do what Atlas can.

Atlas can do what he does indefinitely.

So all in all Shazam is looking pretty with his strength and stamina selections. 👆 👆

comes in handy when he inevitably fights sbp soon

Question: In Star Wars, regardless of comics, movies or TV shows, has anyone created force abilities in a lab? Like clone someone and grant him force abilities via genetics or the likes?

Superman' burden is everything. Atlas' burden is seeing Captain Marvel use his stamina to play videogames.

Speaking of Cap, he now has spells to shrink himself inside bodies. He is becoming ridiculous.

You mean like turn a normal person into a Force user via science?

I don't think that's happened, no.

Yep.

So just imagine how powerful Johns is going to make Prime in this. 🙂

Yeah I thought because of that Midi-Chlorian shit.

In Legends I think Plagueis was trying to do something like that, but he found that midi-chlorian manipulation was far easier to preform if the being was already Force sensitive to a degree.

But yeah, I can't think of an instance where a normal character has been transformed into a Force user via science.

What’s the deal with Red Cloud and how can she choke out the Superman family. Had Jon on the ropes today. What’s her powers, literally no info about her yet.

Thawne just keeps pulling new abilities out of his ass...

Though to be fair this have technically been done before. There's a comic.from Silver Age where Barry momentarily fused with Jay Garrick and Wally on a molecular level via molecular vibrational assimilation. But again, it was only for a few moments. This shit is crazy..

Force Unleashed 2 (Video game)

Had force sensitive clones and even made a perfect clone of Starkiller
