everything is such a vague term though
considering how complex dc cosmology is, I sorta blame writer for not being more specific
this is like that lifting half of inifnity in final crisis
still a insane feat, funny that marvel fans got so blown away by what donny cates did for thor
but this feat that's 10 times more impressive just got overlooked or lowballed thoroughly across forums

It may be "everything", but it was still more of a test of willpower/heartforce bullsh*t rather than strength.Even Phil conceded that.
the writer is sorta being a dick
the guy asked a very detailed and specific question which was for clarity
and he was just like, yeah "everything"

You need to establish what's actual and not to make any meaningful arguments.
it is to a degree, but continuity will always be a mess within dc and marvel
those who have agendas, are there simply to nitpick, more than half the stories out there are not canon according to them. because there is minor conflict with previous established history, oh well the entire story is non canon then...
the classic case of fans care way more about canon than writers

It reminds me of a debate I had on Reddit. Where someone argued that Starlin's new books weren't canon because they referenced Marvel: The End, which according to Brevoort wasn't canon. The issue with this is that it isn't a coherent argument. Because the original Thanos run is canon and it references Marvel: The End as well.
