But,DC writers are not interested in vs battle in internet.

One is totally spam-free.

The other gets spam all the time.

Someone thought it'd be cool to register on epic games using my email, so he could download free games and such shit.

I logged in and deleted his account.

And how did you get his to log into Epic games?

He didn't need a password.

Sometimes, all you need to is to give your email to complete whole registration process. Without verifying it.

Give me your email and I'll make hundreds, maybe thousands accounts on various sites, just to spam your inbox.

Easy.

His epicgames account was linked to my email, so I could reset his password.

Simple.

Is that how epic does it? I forgot how it works since signing on.

I know Steam requires actually confirming your account from your email address, to avoid such spamming.

If this requirement isn't universal, it would explain why I get so much spam all the time.

Not sure how my cell phone keeps getting spammed wifh texts though, far as I know I haven't given it to anyone. Maybe LG or AT&T sold me out.

Epic seems pretty secure these days, but it's possible they didn't give a shit back in the day.

Most sites require clicking on a verification link in the mail sent on your email.

But there are still many sites that don't.
