Disney would ruin WH40K.

Lol at Darkwing reacting to a charging Omni-Man. Even in other companies Batman wins. 👆

scans?

I'm lazy. It happens in issue #125 during the arc 'Reboot?'.

OG Darkwing takes a beaten up Mark out of a charging Nolan's way.

Do tell. What would 40k look like under their watch? 🙂

i legit know nothing about wh40k.

what are its more powerful characters capable of?

The most powerful characters are higher dimensional beings residing in a plane of existence called the Warp. Powerful psykers like Magnus the Red have shown the ability to destroy entire universes with a thought while in the Warp. Magnus' power is nothing compared to that of a Chaos God's. There are other gods in the Warp, most of lesser power (though some material places the power of the Ork gods, Gork and Mork, as being rivaling or even exceeding that of the Chaos Gods), and the God Emperor of Mankind while projecting his power in the Warp is at least a threat to Chaos.

In the material universe, the most powerful individual beings to ever exist were the C'tan in their prime, basically massive energy beings who wrapped themselves around stars and fed off of them who operated on a scale so large they didn't realize planets existed. When their energy is put into a necrodermis shell they are more readily able to interact with the physical world, and have feats like creating black holes to consume multiple solar systems and travel the void of space unaided, as well as generally being able to manipulate time, space, and physics and warp reality.

The most powerful "mortal" characters are generally Primarchs, the sons of the God Emperor, and extremely powerful psykers, with the Emperor being the most powerful psyker in recorded history. Magnus the Red as both a Primarch and the second most powerful psyker in the Imperium is particularly powerful, and has destroyed the surface of planets, telepathically influenced worlds, and like all his brothers can physically shatter mountains.

In terms of speed, enough feats of Space Marines having hypersonic to massively hypersonic reaction-time and attack speed exist to be more than just outliers, like one time an Ultramarines sergeant exploited a microsecond-long opponent to stab his opponent, and earlier another Ultramarine surveys his surroundings and comes up with potential battle tactics in a nanosecond.

It's pretty powerful, but there's no telling how powerful the characters in the actual comic will be. Different writers have different ideas.

Does all this come along with the tabletop game?

I like the giant robots. The ones with castles for heads, that apparently run off souls or something.

No idea who the good guys are even supposed to be. Imperium of Man are kind of xenophobic nazi's, so not them.

damn. they sound hyper-powerful. i get the wank now.

who would you say the great powers of wh40k (in and out of the warp) would be most comparable to in marvel or dc?

There are no good guys in Warhammer its all shades of grey.

Disney would demand Female Astartes for one.

Yeah, 40K is ridiculous power wise, but would largely suck if Disney had their hands on it.

Some new death metal oneshots coming.

Dark Nights: Death Metal Infinite Hour Exxxtreme! #1

Dark Nights: Death Metal The Multiverse Who Laughs #1

Dark Nights: Death Metal The Secret Origin #1.

Dark Nights: Death Metal The Last 52: War of the Multiverse #1

Dark Nights: Death Metal The Last Stories of the DCU #1.

Can you say kewl?

let's go super cosmic, Mr. Snyder

I want 100 villains as powerful as Perpetua

I want the final boss to be so OP he can destroy the omniverse with a fart

I think they are just doing a crossover

I know this is out of left field, but why doesn’t Darkseid use shields like thanos does? He’s plenty durable but I’m sure with advanced apokoliptical tech he should be able to cook up some pretty powerful shields and be a more formidable 1vs 1 fighter.

He did in Rock of Ages, but alt future.

Plus the Atom just blazed through it.

Writers have simplified him to being a glorified Cyclops.

I think they feel he is already way too powerful.
