Action

Look for a story with a celestial being. I think Roma or the Stranger.
I have a feeling with the destruction of the Beyonder that the sh*t is gonna hit the fan.

Confirmed in Death Metal Guidebook that Superman powers the sun.

And he is doing it for months.

Oooh is that Destiny of the Endless?

No, it's lex.

Is the New Apokolips the sun?

No, it's inside the sun.

Heh.

I guess Superman's placement on the Metalverse Map is literal:

_______________

And is there ever an event involving Captain Atom where he doesn't detonate?

Jfc. ermm

I don't recall any herald/trans tier being who has powered up a sun, even Odin died powering up a planet for weeks.

Galactus was turned into a star but that's it.

Death Metal (2/2):

you know, death metal would probably be more palatable if the art was always this good.

If there was still any question about post-crisis still being canon to the heroes...

Hell pre crisis stories are being referenced here.

That's straight from Superman annual 11.

Black Mercy... Another one of Moore's creations that DC is recycling.

Black Mercy has been used in GLC books a few years ago.

Black Mercy has been used several times now. Geoff Johns resurrected it in his GL run.

Yep. 👆

I'm talking about Black Mercy being recycled for this book specifically, given the reference to Superman Annual #11(written by Moore.)

I don't even think Superman's baseline starting point is trans anymore but straight up skyfather.

the comics out tuesday now? wtf?

Darkfather beats Superman, drains him for months to create a sun (implications that the rest of the heroes would die in the core), kills his Kryptonian cells and shoots him with omega beams. Superman emerges and oneshots Darkfather.

Dynamic power lol.

Seems like Wonder Woman fought Perpetua. When did this happen? Seems like she did well.
