TBF, our opinions can differ with Carv being wrong.
But on a more serious note, there's a way of squaring the circle. It's Thanos - he's a much smarter user than Champion.
Think of it like a GL ring. Their feats don't transfer - what Hal (one of the best users in terms of feats) accomplishes doesn't translate to what Kilowog (a user with a lot of experience).
