Abnormal? Yes. If someone says 'Superman hit character A', on balance, he PROBABLY punched them, and not headbutted them, or bumped them with his muscular ass cheeks.
But it's not impossible. And if it's shown off panel, with no proof either way, but a previous issue showed that when someone was hit, they used their ass cheeks, then.....
K so u think he did throw the hammer away. *shrug*

No need to flame Stilt but it is what it is. Every one of Aarons Thor incarnations are drastically different in temperament and power level. This new Thor is no different
It'd be like taking away Superman's... cape. He can't do cape moves or cape blocks anymore, but his base strength and durability shouldn't change. Capeless Superman should still be seen as a Superman level being, while Aaron only makes Thor seem okie dokie in minis and cameos unless he touches a hammer (and even then).

I hope those pliers that is snatching Thor teeth out is made of adamantium pulled by the pressure of planetary strength.
Aside from their torture contraptions, they had miniaturized black holes, cells with sun level fire, a prison the size of a planet...
I think the prison even had the ability to break u down mentally.

Agreed. I'm just saying they are different though. Every Thor #1 under Aaron is a completely different character
