During the power transfer, it was not made clear whether the void space was destroyed or stayed intact. What was clear was the hostages including lana were no longer in the void, but bak in metropolis..... Thus why i came into the conclusion that they were ported out.

They were not in void, they were inside Lana's head. Midnight's void/black holes were destroyed as stated by Natasha.

I haven't read the issue so I can't tell whether you're trying to blow smoke up our asses or not.

But what about the people that were clearly sucked into the void and survived?

In fact, Steel makes it very clear he was trapped in there.

Comic book black holes, can destroy entire dimensions but can't kill few people.

Basically Midnight was using them to power herself, maybe she protected them. Its not made clear.

Haha, what? She was inside the void, she blasted it apart and comes back to metropolis and Natasha here says she destroyed Midnight in the 4th panel.
